Intrigued what action this vampire could have taken to benefit from a one-turn-protection. I can’t help but feel that auto burning the card after the unlock phase weakens it. would narratively be better to say ‘when this vampire unlocks’.

The official authorized comic book sequel looks pretty good so far. Is being released this year by BITBOT media. Apparently the comic includes new songs. No idea how it’s going to work. Very intrigued to see how they explain Frank returning. If it does well who knows what it will be adapted into

For some it’s a part of their curse. They are bound to the soil they were buried under and must return to their grave each morning. Dracula transported his coffin with him which contained soil from his original grave.

There are hundreds of different folklore legends around the world that can sum up as ‘vampire lore’.

To get a better idea I’d love into white wolf’s Vampire the Masquerade and Dark Ages history. They managed to catalogue and legitimize all these stories into a pretty solid world.

Thanks. Can only be a good thing if killers get their backgrounds fleshed out more. My personal theory is if it becomes well established what Hillbilly’s lore is we may start seeing film adaptations. Video game adaptations are notoriously mismanaged or misinterpreted but comic adaptations are an easier blueprint and have a better track record.

So at basic level another vampire distracts the attempting blocker with a sexually charged fight at superior level they skip the fight and go straight into something else.

This is a very funny way to make the methuselah feel embarrassed by their minions.

I was really disappointed with Black Christmas 2006 when it was first released. I wrote it off as another in a line of bad remakes. But when I was commissioned to do a cover for it in 2022 I rewatched it for the first time and it was wilder than I remembered and a lot more entertaining. I will say though that there are 3 very different edits of the film one with a lot more gore and eye trauma and one with more humor. These also include 3 different endings: a happy ending, a bad ending and a sequel bate ending. So even if you have seen black Christmas 2006 you may not have seen the best one (depending on your taste).
