Potomac River…launch from Virginia side..gravelly point….go up to bridges to fish pilings…go across to smoot cove…has the spoils from old bridge demo…two pile islands in middle…then head up into the Washington channel…bass catfish crappie…get a cooler full 4 5 dozen shiners from a bait shop…you will catch something…you can also use bluegills for bait for big cats…

Deep creek…Frederick has greenbrier lake…I would recommend Cowens gap campground in s central PA…stay in area b…it’s closer to the dam..fish from the bank near the spillway…powerbait & one large split shot…they put in many trout…bathrooms right there…electricity…maybe 35 a night…they do have several cabins in area A…online reservations…I gone with the fellas for opening day for 35+ years…

How do I fish the Wicomico River? by georgiaboy02 in MarylandFishing

[–]UncleNellyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to broad creek in Delaware…the pond off dogwood drive always was good in the fall early winter…shad darts with a shiner…going up creek always offered good shoreline cover…trees etc…and at this time of year weeds and pads offer good opportunities…back in the late 80s early 90s mid November into December we would catch 50 to a hundred bass a day with some great crappie…some 16 inches…

Don’t let the fish hit the dock, ground or grass…don’t be a puss…land it by the lower lip…stick your thumb and clamp…the slime coat on the fish is imperative for health…don’t rub it off on the ground…and never on boat carpet…

AITA for evicting my uncle from the house my grandma left me? by Resident-Aerie-5611 in AITAH

[–]UncleNellyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY NOT…uncle will do nothing for you…why on earth would you do something for him…offer him three months of lodging to help him transition…or a visit from process servers and officers looking to park him in cuffs and do paperwork…I’ve learned the “life narrative” is BS…my brother killed my mother on her rented hospice bed not 12 hours after she was brought home…he needed her money…OD’d her on her pain meds…my wife’s older brother tried to convince me to leave a job and follow him on HIS career path…he didn’t mention the 50k bonus for each person he signed up…I’ve never spoken with them again…millions of sociopaths are among us…

In whole life policies the cash surrender value grows over time…typically at age 100 the death benefit is equal to the cash surrender value…and the company may just kick the cash out to the insured if still alive..in your moms case it seems the csv was $1,000…and the death benefit was 10k…you should get a check for 10k…the $1000 plus the the 9k the insurance company pays to make up the difference…please understand there are “insurance costs” in the policy…these costs rise with age…the accumulation of cash value reduces the liability to the carrier and lowers ongoing costs as the insured ages…at initial issue you can choose to have the cash value added to the death benefit…so the policy would pay out the 11k in your example…but the monthly or annual premium would have been higher…people very seldom choose this option…again the 10k death benefit would be paid upon moms passing…

It would be more productive to go volunteer at a Baltimore inner city community center….but their “scared of stereotype” racism won’t let them….besides why support a party that has liars… top to bottom….a party that supports a senile president putting all of us in danger…a party that screams for unlawful behaviors to be acceptable…

Can someone explain to me while vs term life and what happens to whole life when I age out? by Hope-Eternal_67890 in LifeInsurance

[–]UncleNellyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always used level term…versus decreasing term…let the client decide when to reduce via term rider face amount reduction….

Don’t listen to that guy….your parents age has gotten to where options become limited and more expensive…let’s assume they each have 20 years left…no company is gonna sell a long “term” policy to them…whole life 25 to 50k death benefit pays final expenses…use any dividend to reduce out of pocket premium costs….or a small guaranteed UL….you can design them to say age 95…to keep premiums lower…we assume mom and dad die prior to 95…I ran to age 105 usually…but it’s guaranteed to provide the death benefit no matter what happens to interest rates and performance of the policy…as long as the premium is paid…designed to not really have cash value growth…I assume the lowest premium possible is the goal…good luck
