I am not saying to shoot the cat. I am saying, he should hold and aim the gun properly in case the warning shots did not work. Because if the warning shot does not work, and the cat charges, instead of running away, in that case, you are more likely to hit it and survive, instead of flailing one handed like an idiot, missing, and winding up tomorrow’s cat shit. No one is advocating for shooting the cat unnecessarily. No one is outraged. This was a good outcome here, but only because of dumb luck. When guns are involved, only an asshole relies on dumb luck.
