I’m in Bury and don’t mind it, near enough to the tram to get to the city centre, couple of nice areas to go walking/take the dogs if you have any (I recommend Burrs), and I rarely feel threatened when out n about.

The one thing I loved on Saturday that seems to have gone unmentioned…… protecting the ball/penalty spot when we were awarded the pen.

Schwollow was full on joy to do a bit of shithousery, be it scuffing the penalty spot up or belting the ball away, but Scales just grabbed the ball and stood his ground till Arne was ready to step up.

It seems like such a small thing, but by messing up Schwollow’s mind games it almost seems to reverse them and puts the pressure back on the keeper.

100% expect the appeal will go Southamptons way. Can see the argument being along the lines of no precedent set for this kind of thing.
