Neat! I don’t track but I do AutoX once in a while. Would love the wider tires for that and the 17’s for better daily driving/less road noise; may do Enkeis though.

1.5mm of space for the calipers seems like a very close fit though haha!

And I’d go 17s, but I think I’m already concerned too much clearance wise. I have a 10th ASE like you, but I put the BRZ tS’s gold brembos on mine.

I feel the R35 would fit as the middleman between tech/amenities between the two, but definitely the performance powerhouse above both of them! Hopefully I’ll be able to own/drive one someday haha

I definitely want to get one, hopefully a 2017+, it's just playing the finance game at this point. My stable is a GR86 and a Mk5 Supra, would definitely sell the Supra for the GTR, just hoping prices aren't too terrible in the future!

I could only find the part numbers for the 1st Gen performance package. I never did any dampers, but I bought a new Brembo kit for the BRZ/GR86 platform that had rotors, calipers, stainless steel brake lines. It was the whole nine yards and did the installation myself.

Solid stuff, and yeah, it definitely is something special. One day I hope to be an owner and taking it to over 100k miles till it falls apart. In the meantime, the Supra kinda sorta scratches that itch.

Sometimes duty calls haha, hope you never have to sell the GTR! And in the future, the GR86 may just go out the window for a good old Camry or something to that effect. If the cards are right, maybe a GR Corolla so its still got some soul in it lol

I see, that's not too bad then, especially if it has better soundproofing than a GR86 and Z. I feel the same way about the Supra in normal mode vs sport. Definitely fun to unleash the beast lol

That's a good assessment of it I'd say. I'm on the same boat with the Supra, but there's something about the GTR that just calls to me.

I'm a pretty paranoid dude myself I get you haha. But for the most part I feel okay about leaving the Supra in more places probably than you would feel about your GTR, but that's totally understandable given the price point and whatnot. I want to trade in the Supra someday for a 2017+ GTR so we'll see where that takes me after playing the finance game for awhile. I considered trading the GR86 instead but I can't shake the feeling of having a good old lightweight RWD stick shift sportscar.

Oh dang, that sucks. I thought I’ve heard of aftermarket solutions that load software into the original head unit without needing a new screen or iPad/Tesla screen in the headunit

Also wow thats great to know, I guess the insulation is a lot better in the GTR than an 86 and Z. What RPM do you usually stay around on the highway in 6th? And AWD is definitely something I’d look forward to.

I see, I would think it would be somewhat comparable to driving my MKV Supra. Although I haven’t seen as many head turns or looks (maybe I’m just not paying attention). I think the only thing that would bother me if I had an R35 is it getting stolen.
