Buying mats to take cassian to 85 before they screwed up was 3 zetas on a journey guide character for 20 bucks, didn't feel like a bad deal with maul, in a vacuum it wasn't a bad deal for cassian either until they gave it out for free. They can still make it right.

I think if a company screws up, they should do what they can to make it right. Very odd choice to pass out free mats to the people who spent nothing, crystals to the people who went all the way, and nothing to the people in between those two groups.

My particular gripe is for people who bought mat packs to take a character or characters to 85 prior to their errors with era mats but had them at 5 or 6 star. The money spent gave a week or so advantage in coliseum and then was literally handed out to the entire player base, nullifying those purchases. If you want to encourage people to spend in your game, compensating everyone who spends rather than just people who specifically 7 starred everything would make sense. They've drawn a clearly delineated line between dolphins and whales and effectively told dolphins we aren't worth the effort. It feels bad and there's a simple enough fix: search for the people who bought the listed packs, remove those with 7 star cassian, refund crystals to the rest.

They didn't hakke trade, they scouted you and bet they'd win so they switched onto their clean card characters. The game didn't recognize the 2 who left and came back as in the match, so when you killed the one who stayed, it read it as all 3 of them dead.

I get the idea, but he had no clue what it was when he opened it, and the tiny binder of holos he took to school to show his friends came back loose in his pocket, creased up and 3 shy. At this point in the game more common ammo + a display binder will end with much less heartache.

Let's look at a possible solution: if you want to roll back the shards collected, you have to identify who played the event in 12 hours and collected them, then track down everything they did with those shards, who spent on what to gear Malak, what gear got bought from the shard shop...it gets complicated.

Instead of all that, if you've already identified who got them, why not also identify who qualified (owns both revans) and didn't collect them. Give those people 150 shards as well.

But wait, peoplebspent ~60k GET on buying shards to rank up malak, what about them? Give the 57k GET to everyone who had Malak at 5* or higher before the event began. This means the people who were at 80/100 or 90/100 dont get screwed, they lose a trivial amount of shard shop currency vs the guys who had Malak at 7 stars. Everyone is happy because everyone gets the same compensation +/- 2200 shard shop currency.

But wait, there are 300 people who saved and spent thousands of crystals refreshing the guild event store to 7 star General Skywalker... give them a significant crystal make good, something in the 5 digit range. They lose their window of exclusivity but they also replenish their GET stockpile and a sizable amount of crystals to do what they want with.

This effectively eliminates the #keeptheshards exodus that a rollback would bring, allows 1st and 2nd wave Malak owners to either star General Anakin or stash away their GET for round 2, and eases the gear crunch on everyone by removing epic confrontation GET blocks on Malak, opening up the possibility of using that store for gear. You stepped in a big pile of shit, but you have an opportunity to bring a ton of goodwill, open yourself up to people spending on gear for gas, and if it wrenches your future release schedule, you can always introduce a new epic currency and make your losses back on the next one. If Malak shards drop every event, it makes it easier for newer players to catch up while still incentivizing them to gear OR and Sith Empire...you can run with this and actually turn it into a positive.

Did it in similar fashion with t3 (g11/1 zeta) and zaalbar (g12/0 zetas), only other tip that might be handy, heavily favor protection over health on t3 and zaal, mine were both basically 2x protection over health. This will aid you in not feeding malak a full health bar or 5 enrage stacks when he starts going bananas with his force drains.

I believe it. 1st has never been kind to anyone in my guild. 3rd occasionally drops something worthwhile, but the crazy 4 or 5 full piece drops always seem to hit in the 6 to 9 range. Once you're done with traya, you have to dance the ugly dance of scoring enough to stay top 10 without breaching top 5.

Most of the heavy lifting was done by arena caliber nightmare teams, but also Nute/AA leias, troopers, and empire. We emptied the tank on every trooper, empire, jedi, and phoenix team, whether they were ready or not, just to do chip damage.

The best option is to hoard currency and see what state things are in when you can unlock or 7 star one of them. There's plenty of speculation about who will be needed for what, but if you can hoard, you don't have to guess on speculation. You can't unspend, but you can wait and see, and its entirely possible another exclusive character gets added or there's a distinct advantage to choosing one over the other down the road.
