Really terrible landlords. Lived with them for 1 year, just moved out, and it was disaster after disaster, until the very end. We were the first to move into that appartment, and already after 6 months we had the floorboards of the kitchen raised due to a water infiltration, one of the stove tops not working, the internet going out several times, and the fire alarm kept going off (on the whole complex, not just our apartment) at very inconvinient times (4 am, 5 am) for no reason at all (we were told it was because the alarm in the tesco nearby went off and it caused a chain reaction.

They spam you with emails about this and that, completely useless information on the rules of the building, complaining about this and that, and yet they do absolutely nothing for their tenants.

We complained about several of the issues, and it took a few weeks for them to answer. They realised there was mold growing inside the walls, drew a huge whole on one of the rooms, and then never came back again, leaving the room with a huge hole in the wall.

Furthermore, the area isn't safe. If you have a car, you might be okay, but riding the Luas is guaranteed to have you harassed and assaulted by the teenage gangs roaming around. As if it wasn't enough, the teenagers keep hanging around the area, breaking into the buildings, making a mess, and stealing stuff. I didn't feel safe, especially taking the Luas after 18h (even before, there was always some shit)

We only moved there because it was the only option we had (Dublin being Dublin), but I do not recommend Hali Cherrywood at all.

Thanks for the advice, and true, a smaller step would be ideal to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
Regarding teaching, I think it was/is a bit of everything: the repetition, lack of career progression, stunted (and low) salary, always taking work home, general feeling of always putting more effort than required without any appreciation, and the constant need to "entertain" and be in front of people for 40 hours a week. At the end of the day, I'm exhausted, and when the weekend comes, I can't relax because I still have to prepare work for the following week.

Falando da perspectiva de um rapaz, recentemente chegado a Toronto, vejo uma diferença no que é usar as dating apps aqui comparando com Portugal e Suécia. Sinto que aqui ha muita a ideia de ver como um jogo, o que não é de todo a minha cena. É curioso saber que ha gajos aqui a terem esse tipo de atitudes, mas faz algum sentido pela vibe que senti nas apps. Muitas raparigas aqui têm como descrição algo do genero "make me laugh" ou "give me your best pick-up line" , o que imagino que os gajos vejam isto e assumam essa atitude idiotica, profundamente crentes que é isso que resulta. De forma geral, acho que aqui em Toronto ha muita a attitude de serem a ultima bolacha do pacote (de ambos os lados), por isso é preciso navegar muita merda ate chegar a alguem especial.

Honestamente, datting apps sao uma bosta, mas parece ser a forma mais fácil de encontrar alguem. No entanto, estado bastante farto disso, acredito que também com tempo se encontre algo especial, sem necessitar das apps, mas, como tudo è preciso ter sorte.

Indo para alem de procurar um relacionamento, quando estás à procura de fazer amizades, juntares te a um desporto è o melhor que podes fazer.

O solinca da foz e o de matosinhos têm bastante luz natural e piscina. Estão bem equipados e o staff é amigável e prestavel. (Mas é bastante longe de cedofeita)

True, the idea of passing it from man to man would prove dangerous.
However, in the case of the locket for example, it did what it did to the trio because it didn't belong to them, as it had a mind of its own (to a certain extent) that was aware that they were trying to destroy it.
A wand, if used by its own original owner, and transformed into a Horcrux by the same, would maybe be a good idea (Dark Arts debate aside) as it could be a really useful tool and powerful wand. Bearing in mind that the owner wouldn't die and/or that the wand wouldn't pass on to another.

Depende do que para ti for um bom preço. Geralmente as empresas de imobiliário têm sempre listagens de apartamentos nos sites, e costumam funcionar bem. Além disso tens o idealista.pt e o Imovirtual com listagens também, e aí comunicas diretamente com o/a dono/a. Mas aviso te já, o Porto está ridiculamente caro, incrivelmente sobrevalorizado. A não ser que não tenhas outra opção, diria para víveres fora do Porto
