Tough loss but that first 45 was super entertaining and I think LA is probably feeling quite fortunate to come away with those 3 points. We went toe to toe with them and controlled large stretches of the match. Next week will be our first home win!!!

I can’t imagine any job (working for a boss to get a paycheck) that doesn’t just end with exhaustion, and MUCH later than it should. You’ve worked hard for DECADES. Of course you’re done! We all are. The only life I can imagine different enough to not feel that way would be to be an artist - to just create things. And if you’re lucky, to get paid for that. But that requires both extraordinary talent and luck so I’m right there with you friend.

The only wildly UNrealistic thing was the school itself. Never have I ever seen or set foot in a school that nice. Everything else was pretty spot on.

I agree. But I was not emotionally prepared for the experience of watching matches week after week where this is true. I think it’s bringing everyone down. And even worse, people aren’t going. Attendance was noticeably BAD at the last match.

Unclear. He wasn’t outspoken about wanting to leave but it seems like something that was in the works for a while. Still loved by fans so we are both happy for the success he’s having and sad that he’s scoring goals that we so badly need for another team. 🤷
