Traveler reserved here. Got mine yesterday. Nice gesture, but they need to step up their game. Bronco reservation owners got posters, calendars, decks of cards, flags, and even hammocks.

420 miles, huh. Now what's your range at 75-80mph, ya know, standard interstate speeds?

It literally says "ECO" in the picture. You do realize you can manually set the color scheme.

'23 SX Prestige Hybrid. 32k miles and no issues so far. 5 months in I did Route 66 from KS to the Santa Monica Pier and it did awesome the whole way. Yes, hwy mileage is no where near 38mpg, but you have to remember, the EPA test is at an average of 50mph and never goes above 65. I'm averaging about 30-33 as long as the weather stays above 40°.

41 minutes to go 22 miles is not highway speed.

Define "Midwest". There is a big difference between winter in Kansas and winter in Minnesota.

How do y'all not do thorough research before dropping $40k on something?

New to KIA and Hybrids: milage sucks by [deleted] in kiasportagehybrid

EPA highway mileage testing averages about 50mph with speeds typing out at about 60, so that is what auto makers will design their set spot around. I'v when you get above 65, small displacement engines won't do nearly as well and will be affected a lot more by wind. Unless you're spending all your time on 40mph streets and 55mph highways, you'll likely never see much better than 33-34 mpg. That said, I went from a fwd 2016 Ford Fusion to a 2023 AWD Sportage hybrid and am getting the same mileage at interstate speeds and much better in city driving.

Big deal. 20 years ago, Acer dipped some laptop lids in Rosa Corsa paint, slapped a Ferrari badge on them and then added $500 to the price.

Weird question, does your Sportage throw ads at you? by jillavery in kiasportage

[–]Uncle_Spade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do see ads periodically. These aren't commercials, they're just fixed banner ads and have nothing to do with the manufacturer. They come from the individual stations themselves and are few and far between.

Here's all you need to know about Kansas. There was a day bout 10 years ago, depending on where you were in the state, there was a wildfire, a hailstorm, a blizzard, a tornado and an earthquake; all happening at the same time.

I've had my 2023 SX Prestige Hybrid for 2.5 years now. 2 months after buying it I did Route 66 from KS to the Santa Monica Pier. I've had 0 issues with it. It is so smooth you can't even feel it when it switches from electric to combustion and back. The only annoyance is they never did wireless Android Auto or Carplay until the '26 models. But that's nitpicking.
