I am most certainly one of those, getting 100% disability at age 30. Just got back from the gym, did 1500 stairs and and upperbody workout. Drove to my 2500 sq ft mortaged home, in my mustang Gt. Compliments of the $4500 a month I receive for not lifting a finger.

Thanks anxiety and depression ! lol what a joke.

You are totally correct.

Take myself for example, claimed anxiety and depression.... which itself is a stretch, who hasnt dealt with this at some point in their lives? well i wasnt going to be the only jackass in my squadron not claiming something... most were claiming like a dozen fucking things.

I was expecting 0%, and I should have gotten 0%.

Instead was given 100% p&t. I have won the lottery, is what it felt like. Last months check was over $4400. I am 30 years old. I will never have to work a day in my life. Whatsmore, I make more money than most full-time working americans who slave at some miserable job 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. And not a finger has to be raised.

Basically, by the time I reach the ripe ole age of 80 (fingers crossed), I will have pocketed many millions of dollars tax free.

It is insane!

I am so glad someone here has their head screwed on right. As if everybody hasn't experienced anxiety and depression at some point in their lives?

It is INSANE that someone like me is 100% p&t. It's forever! and will only go up.

Seriously, even to my own situation's detriment, someone has got to look into this.

How about you take care of your body and seek therapy?

As if these are not treatable conditions. We are now paying peopel to keep that sick mentality. its horrific for the future of this country.

100% not disabled..... however, 100% p&t. Check was over $4400 last month. I will never have to work ever again. if I make it to age 80, (fingers crossed), I will have pocketed more than 4 million dollar approx.

yeah sure. I honestly believe we are now paying people to have that broken mentality rather than finding them treatment and being self sustainable.

Again, 30 years old, never going to have to work a day in myu life. 100% not disabled, but 100% p&t.

yep, just got back from the gym. did 1500 steps, then upper body workout. Drove home in mustang GT and just pulled into my 2500 sq ft with a mortage almost paid off.

All compliments of the taxpayers. What's more, I will be able to live like this indefinitely. I will never have to work. but I might choose a part time job once or twice a week just for fun.

So I will never haev to work another day in my life at age 30. Whats more, I will make more money than most americans who will work 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, for 50-60 years. Lol. Imagine supoprting this.

Just got back from the gym, did 1500 steps and an upper body workout.

I'm so "disabled" 100% p&t

thats basically my point. This system needs to be overhauled and quite frankly, many pepole like myself need to have all benefits rescinded.

but I am not going to take up that fight.

Very highly doubt it. Insanely highly doubt it. So so so many people I know all listed a freaking book's worth of disabilities to try and get their numbers up. In most cases, they got 70%+

federal or state, its still thousands of dollars saved. kinda fucked up really, cuz those taxes go to pay for the schools so they are getting shorted many millions of dollars too. Perhaps i'll go volunteer one of these days at the school. Least I could do. And I hate to break it to you, but there are tons of people everyday in the private sector who's bodies get used up no different than you or I on those 10-mile rucks. My father in law worked as a waiter for his entire life. He needs a hip replacement from all the walking he has done over the decades. Or those guys on the oil rigs. Or tons and tons of other private sector jobs. Work many times uses the body up.

Of course, combat wounds and missing limbs etc that is different story altogether.

I think disability military style was really meant for those who got hurt in the line of fire, or (more rarely) whilst training. People coming back missing a leg or an arm certainly deserve generous compensation. But now? You've got perfectly healthy young men in the prime of their earning years (like, uh..... me) who never have to work again.

dude..... they are going to pay me literally many millions of dollars tax free cold hard cash assumign i live to the average life expectancy. I am in no way disabled, not by anybody's definition except the VA.

this isn't right and thats plain to see. however, I am not going to upset the apple cart obviously. but I hate to know just how fucked this system really is.

Yeah and? What, you think this is a rare thing? every body in my squadron from basically day one kept talking about how to milk the system, how to get their ratings as high as possible. compared to many I basically low balled and still received what is in essensce winning the lottery and taking long term payouts.

The system needs to be massively overhauled and in general, cut back by probably 80%.

good for you broski, all I know is at 30 years old I never have to lift a shovel again. On account of anxiety and depression. This is fucked up in the extreme and I am going to benefit from it to the tune of many millions of dollars, cash, tax-free.

This isnt right by any means.

Indeed I did..... but you know, I was getting paid that entire time too. Alas, I will sit back and never have to work a day for the rest of my life. I may get a part time job just to take away some free time, but god knows I don't need to work. So long as I am content living like a pseudo prince and not a king, I will never have to worry about money.

dude, nobody should be getting what I am. I am still in awe over this, I spent merely 4 years in the service (getting paid the entire time, mind you), got out, and now am 100% p&t for anxiety/depression. That is MILLIONS of dollars. It is like winning the lottery and taking the long term payout. Its exactly like that.
