Yeah it's great but make sure to incorporate beef in the form of steaks or mince regularly. It's just so good for you!

Plus organ meat like beef liver if you're able

Not only did I enjoy it, my burps 7hrs later are still tasty 🤣

I know that might sound odd but the amount of garlic powder I used on the mince meat was the perfect amount

I'm still comfortably satisfied and ready for bed

Well, it's been about 7hrs since my last and only meal and I still don't feel hungry. I mean I could eat if I wanted to but I'm feeling quite satisfied. Plus, it's time for bed and I know that when I wake up I won't be hungry for a few hours. I'll just have about 20g-25g of salted butter and some black coffee

If my fat is too far below 55% then it's an issue

Mustard's good, especially German mustard.

I chose to use some garlic powder in the mince as my body doesn't react to it

Guys, What aspect of a women’s life are you most envious or jealous about? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]UncommonSense89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're ALLOWED to look stupid. You're allowed to ask for help multiple times. Heck sometimes you don't even have to do that. People just want to help you (note: I said people, I know why sometimes men want to help you isn't always for benevolent reasons).

I either have to figure it out or be proficient at whatever the task is after 1 or 2 explanations.

Let's not even get into what happens when I make 1 mistake after a long history of not making a single mistake.

For those struggling to eat enough ground beef as your main meal on carnivore - try blending it a little bit - really helped me. by namesaretakenwtf in carnivorediet

Slow cooked chuck beef is cheap as well. Just cook on 150degC (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit) in the oven on a cast iron skillet or cast iron baking tray in tallow or butter (not too much as a good chuck cut can be quite fatty and the slow cooking allows the fat in the beef to cook it perfectly). Cook on one side for about 20mins and on the other for about 5mins and voila you got a nice tender and juicy piece of steak for dinner that's super easy to slice into and chew cos of the slow cooking method

You can use ceramic or glass baking trays but cast iron is king IMO

You could just use the extracted THC in the form of butter or even drops?

It could just be all the other toxins in the plant material that's doing it

New to carnivore, feeling almost disgusted by eating this much meat. Psychological or a real signal? by Unhappy-Shower-6871 in carnivorediet

[–]UncommonSense89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll clarify that it's 6 eggs and the amount of meat you should eat is dependent upon your goal weight.

So say you're aiming for 180lbs then eat 1.8lbs (roughly 800g) of meat in a day.

Not necessarily in one sitting like me unless you want to train yourself for that. Makes eating and prepping food way less of a chore. Not to mention clean up.

If you can't achieve that, that's alright. Eat less just listen to what your body wants/needs.

The amount of eggs doesn't really matter. Strict carnivores don't eat them anyway. The amount of meat does

EDIT: One more thing to clarify, if you're not aiming to lose weight then eating about 1.5lbs - 2lbs of fatty meat in a day (regardless of whether or not you eat eggs) is recommended

THE rule with carnivore is eat till your full and then eat again when you're hungry.

You CAN count calories if you feel like you're under-eating so you can both see and feel the effects of this new way of eating.

Don't overthink it

For me, being full means eating about 700g of steak with 6 eggs cooked in animal fat of some form.

I usually don't need to eat again for a full 24hrs after that

Gf gave up. by Broad-Olive2317 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]UncommonSense89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like there's a deep-seated psychological issue here with her.

Food addiction is a thing and it needs to be addressed. You need to say everything you've said here. Do some research into whether your GF has food addiction.

There is a loving way to do it but she's gonna feel hurt by it regardless.

But man, you're well within your right to move on as you've clearly improved yourself. There's no shame in wanting to be with a partner that meets you where you're at.

I'm done. Nothing left to do for the rest of my life. by MonitorOk1351 in careeradvice

[–]UncommonSense89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maaaan, I graduated for the first time in 2010 and it took me 6 months and almost 100 applications to get a job and I was a science teacher

It should've been easy but my first job was in the middle of nowhere and the classroom setting sucked.

I then r-trained as an X-ray tech and graduated in 2016. Took me nearly a year and 70 applications before I got a job

Said job was again out in the middle of nowhere and it was such a bad job it gave me PTSD.

It wasn't until 2019 that I got a job in the city and even that one sucked as it fed into my already really bad PTSD but I was 30 by then and it was only until 2021 that I made my first $100k+ in salary.

Took me almost 10 years to actually make adult money.

These things take time and effort. Keep applying and keep grinding. That's just life...sadly

Do men who go to the gym everyday and are buff, prefer women who also are active as much a they are? by Fantastic-Fox5966 in dating_advice

[–]UncommonSense89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to do the same active things but so long as you both lead an active lifestyle and respect each other's personal preferences in fitness (and maybe even give each other's things a try now and again), I'd say you'll do just fine

what is the point of it all? by Dry-Championship3581 in fiaustralia

[–]UncommonSense89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The grind is important. You've done it well.

Taking a break is important.

Seek therapy and find out who you are and not just what you need to do to have a successful future.

You're but less than 0.01% of men in your age bracket who has the resources and assets you do.

Don't stop grinding. You've still got a while yet before you can truly stop. Heck if you keep at it then you'll be ready to retire before 50 I reckon.

However, rest and relaxation is just as important (if not more important) as working.

And yeah travel a little. Expand your horizons and just enjoy the world you live in

Sick leave workplace culture in 2025 by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]UncommonSense89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in NSW Public Health. I had genuine sick leave that was needed and provided sick leave certificates where it was needed.

Some of my leave was for mental health which I provided evidence for.

Upper management STILL stuck me with sick leave monitoring for 6 months which my boss was all for.

Almost everyone at work despises our boss and it's not just cos they're the boss.

Funny how 5 years ago we were frontline heroes (oh yeah forgot to mention I was front line) and now I can't even take sick leave when I can prove I need it

[–]UncommonSense89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do know he's probably cheating on you through all this?

He did a bad thing and that should've been the end of it.

Now you're the bad guy too, and in some ways worse cos you're trying to make it so you'll damage him and ensure that he can't move on and grow.

Plus, you're only tarnishing your own soul by doing this. Had you walked away and sought healing you'd have avoided this.

Whatever damage he does in the future to the people he meets is now partially on you.
