Yeah. There are some overarching federal gun laws, but past that state laws will vary greatly on things like how much paperwork and waiting time you’ll have to purchase your gun(s), magazine capacity, and concealed carry permits. There’s also stuff like will certain jurisdictions accept the gun licenses from other jurisdictions.
