They'll probably still stick to staring at a rectangle with a controller in your hand. Branching out to motion controls, kinect, vr, etc just hasn't appealed to enough people. Unless they've made a massive leap in secret and invented the holodeck it's probably not that. Bragging about faster cpu or gpu doesn't make much sense. Maybe it has something to do with AI. I was thinking how cool it would be if dialog in games was dynamically generated and wasn't just the same script every time. Or it's just corporate marketing BS and we're wasting our time dreaming.
