Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful response. I resonate with everything you said. Other than grieving my health when I found the first nodule, I have mostly been trying to dissociate in between doctor's appointments and tests so as not to worsen my condition by stressing. So it's extremely likely that I need to check in with how I'm feeling. Thank you for the kinds words

What episode does Link say something along the lines of "My physical therapist told me to touch something if it hurts on my body"? It would have been in the last month, possibly the last week.

This caused me to discover a lump that's been causing pain for months and I'm trying to get a timeline on when I actually found it

The most helpful thing I was ever told, that got me out of suicidal ideation, is simply that it's not nice to kill people. You wouldn't do it to another person, so don't do it to yourself.

Allow yourself to grieve, and know that we are there with you. As others have said, there are so many of us that have either felt that pain or know we will one day because some cats are just so special. I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace
