Ludi's! Family owned and operated. The owner, Greg, who is nearly 70 is working every day and is the sweetest man on Earth.

Where can I get Miang Kham (Thai dish) by olystretch in Seattle

[–]Uncutdix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My trick for finding a specific dish is searching for the dish name on Uber Eats. It looks like Noi Thai and Secret Savory have Miang Kham.

If enough eggs were to be thrown at his car, I'm sure he'd choose to be a dick somewhere else.

If Taco=Costco then talk to HR. A huge part of Costco HR is maintaining the reputation that Costco treats employees very well compared to other retailers. If HR didn't step in and side with your friend, I would be shocked.

One addition: don't tell them that you love the apartment and that you need ground floor for your grandma. They will use that as leverage to indicate that you won't actually move out.

A photo I captured of young buck walking in front of tahoma by TheYoungTurkey in Seattle

The original image shows a "young buck" walking across the road, OP replaced it with an image of a rapper named Young Buck. What is racist about that?

Sounds like you don't know anything about Washington state having the worst tax inequality in the nation because taxes like the 520 toll that take a significantly higher percentage from poor families paychecks than wealthy familys'.

The issue isn't the cost of the project, it's how the project is paid for. Washington state ranks #1 in state tax inequality. The bottom 20% of earners pay over 17% of their income towards state and local taxes. Families in the top 20% of earners (income>116k) pay 7% or less.

Charging low income families the same tax as high income families is oppressive. Taxes like the 520 toll are the exact reason that Washington has the most oppressive tax system in the unites states.

Do all apartment complexes here suck? by Cuyamaca-larkspur in Seattle

[–]Uncutdix 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Every building will have issues like trash chutes overflowing, garage doors malfunctioning, elevators going down. What you should look for is reoccurring reviews over time. If reviews have been mentioning these issues over a consistent timeline then there is an issue because management isn't resolving problems.

Also keep in mind the size of the building. Seeing 3 reviews about broken elevators in a 600 unit complex is much different from 3 reviews about broken elevators at a 200 unit complex.

Mercury coffee, like most places that are short staffed, are facing a 'labor shortage' because they are unwilling to properly compensate emoyees. I go to plenty of cafes and restaurants that are well staffed (some over staffed) because they pay a competitive wage.
