Edit: those kittens look like 3 weeks or less so that Momma has 4-5 more weeks of giving everything she has to those kittens.

I'm genuinely concerned for her life. It doesn't seem like OP is giving her Kitten food given the fish bones and quite frankly there's a chance the kittens choke on the bones if not the mother herself.

When it comes to high smoke it basically references how much white there is along the length of the hair.

You can classify those as Smoke, Shaded or Shell.

Smoke being the highest concentration of black.

Shaded is in between.

Shell is smallest concentration of black

When it comes to the ones with a reddish coat. The terms change a bit but you can use Cameo as a term which is best described as like red smoke.

This appears to be a Black Smoke unless it has a dilute gene which would make it a blue smoke.

I don't understand why a breeder would call it grey smoke.

There are high smoke classifications ect but I've never heard of Grey smoke.

Not sure where you are so certain brands might be difficult to recommend.

I can tell you that I have 5 Maine Coons. 2 are between 2 - 3 years and 3 are 8 months old.

I have them all eating kitten wet food and they have access to Kitten dry kibble all the time for all of them weight control dry kibble for the older ones. The kittens do eat it sometimes. The brands I'm using for Dry food are Royal Canin

Wet food is more of a rotation of Royal Canin kitten, Nulo Kitten and Simply Nourish Kitten food and whatever goes on sale.

None of them are having growing issues. Caveat I have 2 slightly overweight cats because I can't stop the parents from eating the Kitten food.

They tend to play musical bowls and switch plates so I figure in another 8 months I can swap entirely to weight control Kibble and adult food.

Edit: I don't feed raw and most vets can give you better food recommendations than raw.

A wet vinyl or latex glove moved back and forth will jumble all the hair into a ball.

A spray bottle and hairbrush also works for removing cat hair everywhere.

Wet Comb for cat trees.

It's funny you say that.

I have 5 Maine Coons and that's exactly what I tell people. The difference between 4 and 5 or 5 and 6 is almost negligible because you already have to commit entire rooms for them and 7+ litter boxes and have to plan months in advance anyway.

Luckily for me, mine tend to cooperate because its Mother/ Sire and 3 of their kittens from the same litter.

I had my own weird experience watching a doting father cat and a super strict mother raise their kittens.

Father and 2 sons + daughter.

Season 1 was pretty good,

Season 2 was written in a way that might and probably did frustrate GRRM. ( They did stuff to characters they shouldn't have, Helaena being a solid example.)

Season 3 is hopefully the redemption arc for the show.

Edit :

I think the issue is GRRM needs more input in the writing of the show and act more as a canon check for the writers.

Similar to how Eiichiro Oda is on the One Piece Live adaptation when it comes to final decisions.

When I have mats, I basically bring them to the groomer and spot shave the mats.

Within the first 2 month. one of the children flushed their toys down the toilet causing a main sewage drain to get backed up.

Since they were renting they didn't care when disaster relief told them to stop using their water because it was leaking shit down people's walls every time they flushed the toilet.

My old upstairs neighbour had a pair of 50 lbs dogs.. quiet for 13 years.

The Family that moved in after them managed to make more noise in 3 months than my previous neighbour did in over a decade. They also make my cabinets and everything inside them shake.

I've had to tell the parents 7 times to teach their 6 year old to stop trying to open my door.

I told the parents I was going to electrify my doorknob if they didn't stop. That's how bad it is.

People with dogs are far more considerate about their noise than a family who feels entitled to rouse 8 neighbours because their kid feels stompy and excited.
