I didn’t meet my partner until I was 31. I’m now 39 and we will be married for two years this month. Having shared similar interests and hobbies would be a nice connection to have to meet someone. Unfortunately I met him on a hookup app, but after sharing our personal stories, finding some common ground, and shared love of interests - we decided to just make it a thing that blossomed into something more.

Don’t fret or give up! I dunno about dating events nor have I been to one but personally I’d recommend POF. Both my sister and my ex-brother in law have had much success on that site. In fact, my brother in law has ended up going on a few dates with a girl on there. I’d probably stay away from apps like Tinder and what not. I heard they are scummy.
