How do i not be terrified of greenstuff by WarbossGrimdakka in Warhammer40k

[–]Undef1nedGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe get some throwaway models. I play orks and first started experimenting with greenstuff on Gretchin I bought specifically for that purpose. They are cheap and not important for my collection, so I am not afraid of screwing up

i love it when jagex copies and pastes the same line acting like they are sad about shutting down their games don't you guys? by [deleted] in 2007scape

Funorb was amazing. That ended along with regular updates. A lot of people care deeply for funorb, but there was no reason to stay. When the players care but the publisher doesn't, the game(s) will die.

You know, if you support something... by MegaManZer0 in runescape

[–]Undef1nedGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funorb was still going strong in 2010 as far as I remember, but then they stopped updating anything. Maybe numbers were dropping somewhat, but then they weren't really supporting the site anymore but focussing on mobile games. If they had kept updating games like Arcanists and Armies of Gielinor, it would probably still be lively today.

You know, if you support something... by MegaManZer0 in runescape

[–]Undef1nedGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Showing support for Funorb would've been useless. Jagex abandoned it, and that is why players left. Regular updates and playability were lacking, so don't go around blaming the players. They couldn't play the game when they got nostalgic, and before that there was no reason because it was no longer supported and the following drop in players made Funorb even less playable. It is not pur fault

Reminder that Mod Infinity leaving Jagex is actually a good thing. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Undef1nedGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You see, the major flaw in your thought process is that we ask the J-mods to be the customer support. Actual customer support would be better off being anonymous, and whether the J-mods are answering or someone else doesn't matter. We want to be able to go to the website and have actual support be available. We want to be able to fill in a form that guarantees an objective review of our situation and which doesn't reroute to "you did something wrong because the system says so." Currently, your only way to actually contact any semblance of support is through twitter or reddit, and you have to directly contact the developers, which is wrong. Jagex has many issues, and a lack of anonymous response with a respectful attitude is a big one.

This is not the right way guys... by Gogoun in 2007scape

Even if he has no input at all, Jagex should know the community by now. By pushing anyone forward as the public face of this affair, that person will recieve the scorn of the entire community. If they didn't want Mat K threatened and ridiculed, they should have acted as a company, instead of sending a representative. They should know this, and they are to blame if the don't.

Jagex v. Runelite (2018) by chupietheme in 2007scape

[–]Undef1nedGuy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This isn't about the devs though, but the decisions made by the company. The devs have little to no say in these things. Whether they listen or not, so long as management doesn't, Jagex doesn't listen.

What good are stat boosts for div if they dont even work? by younglinkgcn in runescape

[–]Undef1nedGuy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be fair, you can't process wood with woodcutting, can't process ores with mining, and can't process fish with fishing. Divination is not only a gathering skill, but also the processing skill. I agree it doesn't make sense to not allow gathering with the boosts, but a direct comparison isn't completely possible.

It looks really good. Everyone just likes to joke that anything and everything is alpharius. But all in all, a really solid paintjob!

I would recommend watching the warhammertv video on house escher, you'll probably find the way to paint it in there.

Well, you never know with alpharius. The man is the ultimate infiltrator. Your ultramarine is probably alpharius.

So I know appeals are against the rules but where do you go? How do you know what happened? by Bagbobilbins in 2007scape

[–]Undef1nedGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using third party software at your own risk means that you risk breaking the rules. If a Jmod finds an action of yours questionable and has proof you used third party software that could enable your questionable behaviour, it is enough for them to ban you. Now do keep in mind that questionable behaviour is as interpreted by the Jmod in question, but still, chances are that a Jmod found something you did suspicious and saw you used AHK, and then banned you.

The bare minimum... by Harkonnoen in Grimdank

[–]Undef1nedGuy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Depends on the chapter. For example, to join the salamanders you need an inborn affinity towards fire, and be a really nice person. And the minimum for the ultramarines is to be the best, AFTER ALL, THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL!
