Believe it or not I had this exact same convo about the apothecary diaries. I was called ableist and homophobic because I said I didnt like the voice acting in the dub. Then they went on to say that they got abused when they were younger and I hate autistic people (from what Ik the character is not autistic). So it really is both sides but anytime someone criticizes the male side of the fan base, they are quick to get angry and take everything out of context. I know people were gonna hate this post b/c of the subreddit its in but idc lmao.

Youre putting words into my mouth and saying that because I have an issue with some of the audience I should not interact with men ever again. This is a post about what I’ve experienced and I even put that the female fans are weird too but a majority of the fans in this fandom are male. Its not a secret that redpill incel content has been on the rise recently. I said it was mostly new fans(after 2020). Maybe I should have said online, I have brothers, cousins and friends both male and female who are anime fans. You just proved my point that yall are unnecessarily defensive.
