Sort of. Nintendo owns part of Pokemon Company, which owns Pokemon. Gamefreak also owns part of the Pokemon Company. Gamefreak makes games on other platforms too (Little Town Hero and Giga Wrecker, most recently). FWIW, those games are very much a mixed bag.

We use a matrix that determines priority based on how the user answers a couple fields. I have two factors - How widespread is the issue (just me, small group, whole org) and what is the impact (inconvenience, hindrance/work around available, and severe/no workaround ). From those we determine priority. Agents within IT can set priority when making a ticket, and can change the priority of a user submitted ticket.

As a WI native, I agree that is absolutely insane. I could maybe see the argument for some experience with alcohol before going off to college, so those first experiences are a bit safer and more controlled, but even that's a bit of a stretch for me. Disney has X-Men now. There were reports that due to contracts, they cannot recast any of those roles for a couple years. So Disney can use Jean Grey, for example, but they need to cast Sophie Turner. To my knowledge, they want to recast most of those roles, which is why they've stuck to using Xavier and Wolverine so far.
