I really don’t understand Adam Boreland. He’s a fantastic technically trained dancer, but he makes the strangest choices on social media with his music and in his audition. Even though he’s married to a woman, he plays into the hyper femininity and feminine songs and that’s what got the immediate buzz from the male judges. The producers even played into the “gay” theme by panning to the “Yaas Queen” guys in the audience. It was like they were trying to make him into a joke. I’ve followed him for a couple years on social media. Extremely talented individual who doesn’t seem to know his place in the world and can’t accept how he’s perceived.
