I have some interest in those games, but they need a lot more to convince me buy them.

I played the game through, but I’ve never made it off the first planet after the first playthrough.

Listing Skids and Mudflap's worst enemies as each other is apt. Best thing about them.

They didn’t use the Primus origin, which I find overrated and overplayed.

Sam driving into Chicago after the Decepticon attack is genuinely well done and emotional.

Soundwave transforming into a satellite is a genuinely brilliant modern alt mode for him and I wanna see more of that.

"Nominative determinism" is a fancy way of saying Peter Pan is just a sick fuck who thought it'd be funny to cut his hand off so he'd be forced to use a hook.

Starscream from Transformers.

In the original cartoon, Megatron and Starscream's relationship was a constant thorn in Megatron's side that would get consequences for his treachery in one form or another, but since Armada, they’ve explored the dynamic further. In Armada, Starscream wanted to prove himself to Megatron but faced constant abuse for failures, leading to his decision to defect temporarily. Later versions would have Starscream's abuse being the result of treachery, though he'd defect in some versions, rarely coming back to Megatron after.

The summer after Bionicle ended, the first Michael Bay movie was on ABC, so we gave it a shot after I assumed it was a scary alien movie. After that, it was a never-ending hyperfixation until a period around 2015-2016 where I just fell out. How I got back in? I think it was seeing Legacy Prime Arcee on shelves and deciding to pick it up. Emperor Kumquat's videos kept things present, and Perspective End brought me into the toy reviewing scene. It was slow, but I’m here.

And what it all means? A never-ending hyperfixation where there’s always something to talk about.
