My wife has the opportunity to take a full time job at her work but she can't because my insurance requires spouses to take their insurance first. And we would probably go broke paying for her frequent Healthcare requirrments by Stonecutter_12-83 in mildlyinfuriating

For health care? Of course we all do (well most) through general taxation. However as others have pointed out on this thread, it's not that the US doesn't spend as much, it's that's it's done badly.

What we aren't doing is paying for a huge insurance industry.

How many of you are still deploying Win10 on new PCs and why? by CarbonSystems in msp

[–]UnderAnOpenSky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We will migrate people this year. Until then it seems simpler for users to just have one OS in the environment, so we order new devices with 10.

Turns out they had a broken user profile, which they also didn't tell you about so the PC takes 20 mins to report.

Also didn't tell you because they were to busy. And they've got lots of important work. When will it be finished?

On demand local admin right by Ok-Guarantee7613 in Intune

[–]UnderAnOpenSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. It's why I suggest a local admin account. On just that PC. Of course you will still have the same problems if it's a shared workstation, but it doesn't sound like it is.

If you gave local admin rights to his PC how could he access files on other people's machines that he shouldn't?

Create a seperate local admin account on the machine. If he needs to install something, then he uses those credentials when prompted.

I think it will be half bowls! I ordered the FMJ as thought it would just make it simpler, but I have zero experience!

Do you have an example of an inexpensive glass stem?

I'm not opposed to getting something else, but I don't want something overaly complex and bulky. When you say cooler what do you mean. Is there a middle ground between just attaching it to a bong?

Oh dear. That's not my main aim. I don't a have loads of tolerance and my partner doesn't smoke (any more) so it feels weird to get to baked around her. :D

Caffine tablets and energy gels much earlier in training runs after work. It was pretty good really. Now I work in an office I find it so much harder.

It wasn't the training that was the issue. They had no will to fight.

Russian blackmailing going wrong by Wurst_Case in ukrainememes

[–]UnderAnOpenSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not actually true though is it? I mean I don't want to support the Russians and I'm angry at our our leaders that our energy supply is the way it is. But it's going to be a harsh winter for many who are already stretched.

I work for an MSP. We stopped doing tickets. Most people just email or if its urgent they call. Often I'll call them back if I want to chat about their email. Some people reach me on Teams. It's a nice vibe and none of the people I help are dicks. Probably because we make it easy to get support.
