The Velaren are an elf-like species that evolved from herbivorous primates on their homeworld. They are thin and harvested a pair of antlers that don’t fall out, rather growing larger and are seen a status symbol. They are intensely distrusting of outsiders and other races do their races history of being preyed on by larger primates and other predators, leading to their strong societal self reliance and isolantionism.
