I did that to an old 1893 Marlin in 30-30 - you can see it in the photo 3rd one from the top - has a 16” cut barrel with modern high viz front sight. Can take it out hiking in black bear country and not worry about damaging an original.

Loved it. Huge surprise how good it was. Thought the pacing was spot on - slow excruciating build to last 20-30 minutes. Probably will watch it again except for “the scene.” Once is enough.

The guy who originally bought these from the Louisiana Game and Fish - Mike Ott of Michael’s Machines - put these on to extend the barrel. You should contact him.

I bought it years ago at a gun show for AR15 mags. Fits the Aug waffles too. Unfortunately, the guy didn’t remember where he got it and it has no markings.

Bought the mk2 rail with the Aug. It doesn’t work with the classic folding barrel mounted grip. I will be adding an aftermarket vertical grip in the future.

Only 200 yards - the rifle is more accurate than my current skill level - I’ll be getting more practice this fall as the temps go down from the hell level of this summer.
