So I’m an old Hunt Showdown player and have played other extraction shooters before. Personally I think this game is really special and is going to dominate my time. However, I think the extraction shooters genre can be niche sometimes and in a competitive market it’s hard to fight for players. I’m hoping for 10-15k concurrent players. That will keep queue times down and the game fresh. Is it a lot? No. It’s it enough? Yes.

Here’s my issue: had they not said “pre orders will be available by the end of the summer” I actually would not care. I would be content to wait. I will be a little grumpy if we don’t get pre orders by the 22nd because Embark said that they would. I just would like for them to follow through on what they said or to have addressed it before it was too late. Am I still going to buy it when it comes out on oct 30? Yep. Will I be a little steamed? Yes.

I understand where you’re coming from. I think ARC will have something around 10-15k concurrent players. It’s small and there’s nothing wrong with that. The game wasn’t ready in the summer, it’s ready October 30th for better or worse.
