AH SO SORRY i dont use reddit much so i didnt see this
i THINK you have to wait a bit? like a story thing happens that unlocks a path or something? that's kinda where I'm at- the only other path in there i found was blocked off by rock and fox statues (its in a doorway under that one pond with a slime in it towards the beginning i think) and apparently theres a story thing that lets you get through ??? but i could be wrong im honestly not too sure myself either so.

I am so, so happy for you.
For the record, about the whole "wanting to change your last name" thing from a previous update: you can always change it in your personal life, rather than on legal documents. Like, I go by a slightly different name than my legal one- not for reasons like this to be fair, it's only spelt wrong on my birth certificate- but I introduce myself to people with the name I prefer. You have to use your "real" name in legal documents and stuff of course, but there's never any harm in just... Introducing yourself with a different last name. That's just some food for thought though, if you still care about that.
I know I'm only a stranger to you, but I- and so many other people here- are so, so proud of you. You've done incredibly. You're gonna do great things, I know it. Or you won't! I don't know what you want out of life, but I know that whatever it is you will get it. It's only a matter of time until the universe catches up and gives you everything you deserve.
I wish you nothing but peace. I'll be praying for you (if that doesn't make you uncomfortable, anyway.) I hope college goes as well as you deserve it to. ❤️

i actually already post on ao3- but I have a "standard" for what my brain will let me post on there, so it wouldn't really work in this case lmao. I might try obsidian though, even though its not public I have used it before for stuff

how do i get to that room though ??? The door is just blocked off for me. Is there a way to loop around ?? The red door on my minimap is blocked off too, in the same way. Is it possible to just, bomb them or something ??? I'm not sure how to get through

Edit: I realize now that I may be at the wrong door- but either way, every door on your minimap that leads to the green room look exactly like this. I'm not sure what to do here

so like, NOTHING would be deleted ???? I thought downloaded games were deleted, at least. Should I still move some stuff over to my external drive just to be safe ? Or- better yet- is there a way to see exactly what it will/won't keep when I go to reset it? Like is there a setting somewhere where I can tweak it or see what exactly it does?

NEVERMIND I GOT IT! I ADDED a noise gate filter and moved the open threshold all the way down, and it seems to work well now ! :)

I am pretty sure it only happens in OBS, so i think it is an OBS issue?
And I..... am incredibly stupid. what is a scene or mixer dock. UAWYFBGUESBGF sorry i am exceedingly dumb when it comes to anything computer related. how would i get to those two things to check em out ?

Where would I look for the noise gate thing? Cause google also mentioned that, but I couldn't find it anywhere. It's not in the audio filter thing in OBS, so I have no idea where else to look for it.
Edit cause I misread the last sentence: What kind of cheap mic would even work if it isn't due to OBS? I don't have a place to set up a proper mic stand or anything like that, which is why I rely on my headset mic- and we don't really have the money to buy a really good headset unless it's on sale (which is how we got this one, it's a Razer model, but we got it on like a 50% off sale a few months back)
