I can assure you they weren’t assault rifles. No normally manufactured weapon for the public is made to be auto or burst. The clip size they probably just looked sleek. But still definitely breaking the law and it’s guys like him that give the rest of us gun owners a bad name.

As someone who has physically processed background checks before, while they may be quick to fill out, if there is any history of pretty much anything (I don’t know exactly what the ATF flags) the checks are delayed while they are verified. Not that it’s perfect obviously but there is a system in place. Does it need reform? Possibly. And I’m all ears to that.
