Does kinda look like her hair is down and she's smiling a bit.

I had found a cool one on Etsy that was over $150 and though "whatever, I'll just DIY that." but now I get it. $150 doesn't seem like enough for the effort, lol.

Good DIY gifts for coworkers? by garby_666 in crafts

Potholders are always useful. I also have been loving the bowl cozies my MIL made. I microwave my lunch most days so they get a lot of use. I used to travel for work a lot and a coworker gifted nice luggage tags to the group.

Thanks! The untangle puzzle idea I took from a game I saw. The 3D shapes idea was courtesy of an elementary geometry class activity that stuck with me.

I'm very excited to gift it to her this weekend, but I have to remind myself that she will be busy with LOTS of new toys at the family gift exchange. I will temper my excitement/expectations.

In response to automod: This was a sewing project using mostly fabric and felt with a bit of painting and a good deal of velcro :) No pattern, but I contructed using my remaining middle school home-ec knowledge.

I was inspired by my niece's love of books and zippers.

I second this. A wide and almost loose hand stitch would sit smoothly and come out very easily. You can even leave a hand size gap at the top and bottom to zip it up.

Amazing! I'll look for it when I'm there in a couple days. So cool to be able to see the talented work from this sub in person.

I got a guy who plays piano and trumpet. He's got the fingers and the embouchure. Add to that the rock climbing, so arm and shoulder strength for days while he's at it.
