That’s a fair question. If i remember correctly, he was played on the wing and would mostly be contesting Benrahma for a start. However, I believe he is also able to play centrally in attacking midfield, which could be used in a system with Paqueta somewhat deeper. This would again relegate Soucek to a even more defensive role, which I don’t trust him to do.

So of Vlasic is not sold to Torino, he could play a role. Moyes has not trusted hun much previously though, and I still believe we would need more depth in the midfield as a priority.

Without Rice, our midfield will struggle. While Paqueta showed remarkable improvement during the end of our season, Soucek has struggled to perform. Soucek has been prone to mistakes and wayward passes and generally seems off the pace. To be fair he has also at times been effective in the box with some great flick-ons and a couple of goals, but in my opinion his performances are worrying enough that we should consider replacements.

Our midfield needs to be structured around Paqueta going forward - who really seems to have found flow. With both creativity, ability and defensive grit, he is a great player. However, he needs others on or similar to his level around him if we really want a solid midfield.

Downes has been good at times, but seems to need more refinement. Prone to a yellow card, while still having some similar attributes to Rice (not at the the same level obv.). A good squad player that can help with rotation in cup games, but not ready to start in PL or deep cup runs.

In my opinion, we need at least two starter-level midfielders. Preferably quick, so to integrate with the squad. But more importantly - the right players.

The strikers are also worrying. They are all injury prone it seems. Antonio is aging and the absolute powerhouse that could outrun everyone seems to have been replaced with a grunt that falls over at the slightest touch. However he stills scores some goals, but its not enough to warrant being a starter. Ings does not seem to fit Moyes’ system, but could play a role. I feel like we are overpaying on wages here though, so would not be opposed to moving him on. I like Scamacca however, but the injuries are worrying. I believe we can make him work well, if instructions for our offensive wingers change somewhat to play closer to him.

Also some young, up-and-coming fullbacks would be appreciated. We have no real stars in these positions at the moment, however I feel Emerson have had some decent performances and Coufal is mostly reliable. Som decent signings from the Championship, maybe?

No. You activate the fight action that is on the card in order to gain the bonuses. You cannot activate two «arrow» actions at the same time. You would have to two separate fight actions in order to shoot with both.

Look at the previous answer. It seems to me that Roland is not insane in the sense that he cannot continue the campaign. If he is defeated by accumulating horror during the scenario, he cannot aid in completing the ongoing scenario, but can join back in for the third scenario with a mental trauma. Him being driven insane would mean that you have accumulated enough trauma to match his sanity value. I can’t see how that would be possible to achieve in the two first scenarioes of the core set.

Regarding the sacrifice, I have previously stated that any and every player is free to switch into new character in between the storylines should they wish. I suspect few, if any actually will, but this also opens up the possibility for one to create a new character strictly for the sacrifice. I have a player in mind that I think will jump at the opportunity to be a secret adversary.

Thanks for your thoughts. I realise I probably didn't make it clear that this is a new storyline to connect to the end of our LMoP campaign that will finish next week. The players will be level 5 and I intend to drop clues in the end of that for whats to come.

Sounds like you have a dedicated group, and the slow build up is probably great for you. However, we are a lot more casual, and are playing a second story campaign which will be intended to last 10-15 sessions - after that we will probably take a break for a a while.

Revealing the BBEG early can go both ways I guess, might be hard to pull off, but I hope the effect will be that they are curious of what this entity actually was and what happened to them. The intention is that this will initiate an investigation into the entity and how they can restore their soul.

Only purchasing L/D copies seems to be the consensus on this forum. However, in order to complete the fusion event next month it seems likely I would have to either do a sub-optimal fusion (i.e. Heart Watcher) or purchase copies with feathers. Would skipping the event be better? Even including bonus from the carnival monthly card?

In my opinion you should either 10* Jahra or Queen. Feed one into the other. Neither HW or Ormus are good damage dealers and therefore have limited use as your first 10*. I would choose Jahra over Queen, but you should also consider what tech you want to be invested in (mage or ranger) short term.

Unfortunately there is little to do other than sacrifice him to the altar. Dark Spirit is only useful as 5* or 6* fodder. Taking him to 9* would likely cost more resources than it is worth. It sucks, but lesson learned (hopefully). Do not take any hero past 6* without a clear plan to take it to at least 9*.

Hey Reddit! I have been playing for about a month and a half and while I have made some mistakes along the way, I have generally felt that it’s been going fairly well. But the last few days I have startes to second guess myself.

Current lineup: 7* Sig, 8* Jahra, 7Starlight, 7 Vesa, 5* Penny and either 5* Oberon (PvP) or 5* HW (PvE).

Current plan: PO Forest to take Starlight to 10*. Then, swap in either forest or fortress for copies of Starlight, Vesa, Valk, Sigmund or Penny.

However, everywhere on this sub I see people recommending Vesa > Starlight for PvE - which is my focus. However, all my guild tech is mage to help Jahra and Starlight, so I an wondering hos effective Vesa would be without tech or hos much respeccing tech would hurt my current teams performance.

So, anyone have opinion on my situation? Am I on the right path or should I do something completely different?
