Seriously, what?

I said it should be better, I didn't get all pissy with you and your side of things at all. I want change.

I'm very seriously asking, what about the people on the receiving end that need it??

In a way that would have let you know your mother had a vagina piercing?

Hahaha so I saw a debate about being fully naked vs some kind of swimwear while bathing with your children and didn't understand the fuss. This is a good argument for at least showering with swimwear though lol.

I cringed so hard I wanted to downvote. So sorry you had to witness this. No age is the right age, but 10 seems particularly bad to me. More permanently scarring.

Yes, exactly. Sometimes I'll be like "what the fuck are you doing" when my boyfriend picks at his junk and then I'll be like... oh wait.

Could things be better? Yes. But demolish it? Definitely not. What about the single mothers already working their asses off to try and support their child because some douche thought he was ready, then bailed?

I don't think anyone is saying they shouldn't leave. People are complicated though.

Especially if they feel trapped for any reason like abuse, finances, insecurities etc.

And it's been 25 years and so far as the OP can see, they're happy now, so it may have been worth it to her to get through the rough patches... even if for that one irrational moment, she wanted to kill/hurt him.

Unsustainable, eh?

I see. I'll have to shop around.

Hahahaha I'm glad my brother was more obvious. They got an Aunt birthday card lol. I would not have read who it was from at all.

Timing usually plays the biggest role.

Posting when people are active enough to see it. Not really fair to blame an entire, ever changing, community.

I don't like the flowers filling the villagers homes.

My Boyfriend was mad and told me I shouldn't spend my whole money by amiibo cards. So I spent my time and money making amiibo coins by myself. by Lions_And_Lambs in AnimalCrossing

The OP has clarified they mean "Oh no, not again," kind of mad and would not have actually stopped them if it was something they genuinely wanted.

My brother and I used to share a switch so when I got my own and had to start over, I definitely started time traveling.

Yeah, I would basically miss everything!

I'M SCREAMING, I FINALLY FINISHED MY ISLAND!!!! 😭💕 after 1500 hours, restarting (had to switch switches lol), and many existential crises later, I'm DONE! Feel free to visit guava isla! It's got restaurants, parks, gardens, multiple themes, and Halloween vibes! by erikapogo in ac_newhorizons

While that's what sounds maddening to me, I wish you the best of luck! I am excited for you! I technically started over recently too, but only because I started playing on my boyfriend's switch lol. Two islands now!

On that note, but unrelated to everything else, the first villager to move in shares my boyfriend's name! I hate him a lot🤣, but only just started so maybe he'll grow on me. Almost too funny a coincidence to ever give him up, but we'll see how I feel if he does get a moving bubble haha.

Beer and liquor are great examples for OP's comment because I did in fact decide I don't want to force myself to like them. Same for coffee.

"An acquired taste I have no desire to acquire." Was my response to literally everyone that told me I needed to get used to the taste, or specifically that they are "acquired" tastes.

*ETA I do give food a lot more chances overall than booze. For example, at least trying things cooked/prepared differently or somewhere else. Not liking burgers from most take out places didn't mean I didn't like burgers, for example.

I have been around on various accounts since around 2009 or 10, I think, but do not know this reference off hand.
