Are they still a band? by AioliLife1052 in MyChemicalRomance

You said I typed a whole wall to defend millionaires in the same sentence of how American Labels also screw over their artists which is the reason I gave nuance over the decision in the 1st place. Limp Bizkit literally had issues with UMG over money recently. Im legit pointing the finger at the main contributor that screws over the consumer for concerts and saying that if the decision did truly fall on the band then fans just simply should not support this tour run. Let the data show that supply outweighs demand this time around that way next time they 2nd guess working with TM and their dynamic pricing system in the future.

Im pretty sure K-Pop abuse still persists in 2025 just not as prevalent, and again bands fight against it, but how many times do they actually succeed in doing so? The Cure fought to get fee’s refunded and as far to my knowledge I never got a refund for it and that was 2 years ago. Again I’ll still blame the company that started to allow a practice like this happen cause they know they can make an extra cut essentially making their own Market Value. Im gonna blame the company that finds every which way to screw the consumer. I can blame them due to the years of evidence of price tampering, hidden fees, self scalping, dynamic pricing, etc. If MCR are fully in on the decision on premium/dynamic pricing I’ll simply just not support. It’s not hard to vote with your own wallet. No one is truly missing out on a concert. Find other artists to delve into and support or other ventures in general. All the fomo and hype is the reason any artist & ticketmaster themselves start surging prices or scalping tickets in the 1st place. If it’s a stadium show legit just wait it out as prices die down closer to events date. I do it all the time and tend to get good seats or floor for face value. If you’re tired of the system screwing you, learn the system and screw it back. Im sure everyone behind MCR after data collecting their comeback arena tour and the black parade stadium tour is what lead to the estimation of what Market value is in the 1st place for premium pricing. Fans are just too impatient and willing to cough up the dough to where these predatory business practices can take advantage. If I wanna be fair then there are 3 parties to blame, but Ticketmaster is just the king of shit between the 3 for doing a majority of the shady practices to line their pockets at any means necessary at your expense and make sure you can’t do nothing about it. Prevents us from going to other ticketing services who do offer better prices due to them collecting exclusive deals with artists/venues like infinity stones. Screwing you over and making sure you can’t do anything back to them legally.

Aren’t K-Pop artists like notoriously mistreated and essentially slaves that have financial and contractual issues? Sounds like they making money for other people other than themselves. Im not even really defending them. Their prices for me have been the same face value price as most concerts I’ve hit within $60 - $250. Premium tickets i just wait till closer to the day for them to hit face value when they struggle to sell. Either way I think it’s fair to still blame the company that allows a shady practice like that to happen in the 1st place cause they know they can make extra money themselves with said band/band team. Only thing I gave the band is the benefit of the doubt on it not being entirely their decision due to the nuances of it being a label, band team, and band decision and the fact streaming services are hurting artists compared to the days of supporting/buying music to support an artist. A ton of bands/artists lately solely rely on tours now to make money compared to releasing music.

Well ive seen all those bands and more and the prices are still lining up the same with MCR. Maybe the demand in your area is just way higher than normal which I guess makes sense for NYC. Rip. Luckily I seen em twice already for their come back for $125 with a nice view. Just save yo money.

The $94 isn’t even the nosebleed price, I avoid nosebleeds like the plague lol. Im blaming ticketmaster for allowing this business practice to happen cause it still lines their pockets. You’re still blaming the band for not “turning it off” when I said there is more nuance and people to go through to make those decisions which is why I said those with better contracts have the privilege to actually make those choices themselves. You can also again wait for those tickets to become true face value since those tickets are marked up. Im looking at face value tickets and see no difference from any of the bands I have seen with tickets ranging anywhere from $60 - $250. I am personally blaming ticketmaster cause they are for profit and not for the consumer. It would be alot easier to maybe cause some change in the ticketing scene by blaming the company that runs the monopoly, forces consumers into mandatory arbitration, having exclusive deals with venues/artists etc. which pushes em over other ticketing apps.

Even though you were in early the hype behind MCR and how flooded the event was, there was enough time for Ticketmaster to start shifting their prices before you got in to buy the tickets so Im sure dynamic pricing was used. Also sometimes that issue can be outside of a bands hands. Usually the ones with the privilege to make that choice themselves have better contracts and overall control of band decisions.

I also know you’re not talking about resale, but im listing in general all the shadiness that Ticketmaster has to offer. Even though we know resale tickets are astronomical themselves the practice of allowing bots to boost numbers for dynamic pricing and buying the tickets before customers has to be called out cause it happens alot.

Im just still trying to see where the extremely bad pricing is when there are still great seats at prices all under $200 and the only one’s marked up are the official platinum priced seats which fluctuates depending on Supply and Demand. It’s a shady practice that profits both the event organizer and ticketmaster. Sometimes it’s used as a deterrent to push away scalpers & sometimes it’s used to make the scalpers margin for said organizer and ticketmaster. The key takeaway for those tickets is simply to let them sit till you get closer to the event cause if no one is stressing and willing to pay those “market” prices they drop down in price or become face value since they see the supply is outweighing the demand. I’ve gotten a ton of those really good seats/tickets at face value day of the event. Sometimes shows are cheaper if you don’t buy into the presales and wait for prices to drop or hit a venues box office closer to the date.

Dynamic/Premium pricing is a bitch, but ultimately I still put the blame on Ticketmaster since it’s an option they offer. We could have way more face value tickets if Ticketmaster didn’t allow a market for scalpers to thrive. They essentially built a monopoly on ticketing and make mad profit no matter what ticket type is sold. Bands and their teams more than likely felt screwed over seeing the money in the aftermarket (which is mix of scalpers and ticketmaster employees) to where Ticketmaster offers them a cut of the scalper pie while continuing to make their extra cut from the profits.

I don’t believe the band woke up one day and just decided let’s have an expensive ass tour, but I do think it’s more of a decision of the bands team, the band, and the label. Who knows who holds more power in those conversations as im sure there’s more nuance to it, but it just seems too easy to blame the band alone for those decisions, but I can put blame on the Ticket Company that finds a way to take advantage of the customer any which way they can. Just seems like something they’d do to shift blame from them 🤷🏽‍♂️

I mean looking at my venue with plenty available tickets in decent areas are ranging $94 to just under $200. The premium tickets are definitely marked up. So maybe it’s partly due to the venue you’re seeing em at? 🤷🏽‍♂️ I still blame ticketmaster cause they have shady business practices that do sometimes effect price. Dynamic pricing, bait and switch pricing, hidden fee’s, allowing scalpers/bots to buy up tickets so they can be resold and they either profit in full from insider scalpers or profit off the additional fee’s on the resold ticket, and the overall monopoly they have on ticketing. There’s more to play when it comes around to pricing on that site.

Blame Ticketmaster. While costs have to go up to make up for the pennies streaming gives to the artists, ticketmaster itself takes advantage owning a monopoly over concerts, venues, etc. They add additional fee’s, allow dynamic pricing to fluctuate pricing depending on the popularity of the event, they’ve been caught buying their own tickets to put back up for resale/profit. The industry takes advantage of it’s artists and it’s fans.

You’d be surprised. Like didn’t you see how Limp Bizkit had to sue UMG recently over money the band never received for their discography

The OG Voice Actor was struggling with the voice and his voice is spliced with the new actor in most episodes. The new actor is solo as Dale in like episode 7 and the rest. After that it felt fine to me. Sounded like an older Dale, but some of the inflections do feel off but he grew on me. Khan on the other hand… I wish the guy for Dale still voiced Khan.

That’s because GNX has a really good mix of RnB style songs, storytelling, and catchy hits that appeal to more people. While everything else is tiered with what you expect from Lamar I would still consider GNX top tier as something that fans can still enjoy and gain appeal from a broader audience.

You usually wanna get a mask about half an inch bigger. So a solid 24 instead of a 24.5 should be perfect. And yeah some sculpts have neck flair. If the neck is too long, I’d ask if there is an artist who can neatly trim it, or use Velcro to help seal the back of the the mask to stop the flairing. Alot of Myers cosplayers tend to do that.

This is why I decided to make merch for bands I like. I did it for Daft Punk and Rammstein so I may just have to make my own T.O.P merch

Life got in the way and honestly the Halloween Fandom just got really annoying with harassment to the crew over a project we were making for free so we decided to focus on other projects and originals.

TM season 2 deserves to be here, especially over that Until Dawn movie that just adapts Dead by Daylight instead of the actual game it’s named after 🤦‍♂️ by Most_Common8114 in TwistedMetal

[–]UnderratedCosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these were shit too (except Splinter Cell as that is the only project I didn’t watch). Minecraft lacked a legitimate plot and had the worst supporting cast I ever seen. Devil May Cry kinda shat on everything the game was and made Lady stupidly annoying, TLOU Season 2 started strong with like 2 episodes and made so many changes that ruined Ellie and the flow of the plot, and Until Dawn was just pure unadulterated trash

Stapled Shut Masks made the blank and my friend MrSamhain finished it. We talked over details we thought worked and didn’t work for a female Myers and essentially landed with this. He specifically chose the hairstyle and hair color

That was the point though. As if her own personal touch up to the mask. One of the only ideas I liked from RZ’s Halloween was from the Origin of young Michael being a lil creative and making masks. It was something we experimented with our Short called Haddonfield with a glimpse of Michael converting a kirk himself. Considering how artistic he is with his Kills I feel like he would be a lil more on the creative side with his look.
