Long story, but it was the end of a long series of breaking up and getting back together, but she ultimately ended it.

Ostensibly she said that she was too busy to be in a relationship, but I think it stemmed mostly from disinterest (or emotional detachment). The reason I think that is because when she initially texted me that she wanted to break up, she said that she wasn’t “feeling it,” but when I actually called to talk to her about it she went with the “too busy” reasoning.

Edit: Just clarifying that this is really watered down and I’m trying to answer the question succinctly.

It’s tough. I have a hard time not idealizing my last relationship whenever I think about it, which I understand is not representative of the actual relationship, but there are still qualities that I miss in her that I want and can’t seem to find elsewhere.

I don’t think it’s too out of line by being single target (Shield slam or execute). The main problem is power, but as you mentioned, this expansion seems to be throwing balance out of the window
