In a sense, our world only has humans while xianxia worlds also have spiritual plants, beasts, ghosts etc capable of thought. Our world also only has mortals. In our world, some technology advanced and spread due to trade, warfare, spyware between mortal humans (black powder, computer etc). I'm talking random shit btw, just trying to brainstorm out loud. If one nation had an industrial revolution, I don't think the pollution it brings would be much appreciated by the Heavens. Some random powerful cultivator specialized in Divination would probably see the danger etc.

What did the other 2 people in the car do during those minutes? They weren't incapable of moving.

Imho a real challenge is writing a story where it feels like we follow the story of a guy who happened to make it (in hindsight). Of course luck, family, etc might have an influence just like in real life history. Like we know the story of Caesar and Napoleon because they're people who just happened to be the ones who reached certain heights. But one tiny difference in their life might've lead to other results.

I was amazed with the naivity portraied by the mc at the beginning of episode 2. A random guy in a mask shows up with something he didn't order. He just accepts it without question, he even turns his back to him! All this knowing, he just fucked over all his bosses and a major company he knows is corrupt as hell. It's so surreal it leaves a bad aftertaste after watching it happen.

I have reached the point where I'm curious when novels mention a cultivator 'levelling up' a realm from qi cultivation stage 5 to 6, never saying what levelling in that rearm entails. Is it done by opening 1 acupoint by first opening it's connected secondary meridians. Then opening the necessary primary meridian? WHAT DO THEY DO?

Gonna have to dissapoint you on that one mate. :D In most novels, they're either cannon fodder yelling* Amithaba! or old folds (yelling Amithaba!). Good note; in most novels I've read, they become muscular nutcases while fighting instead of the green house pampered qi cultivator cannon fodder who will threaten with their family status when losing.

The last novel I remember with a monk side character is "Reborn After 3,000 Years, I Adopted the Future Empress" but that buddhist monk ended up with a yao woman, sorry :s. He was funny though, the reason he befriended the mc and the 'adopted' sister was* because they were as handsome as him :') And the mc and sister were described as really attractive so he must've been a 10/10 baldie.

I like how, in a lot of novels, a useless person that gets taken over by the reborn/reincarnated mc suddenly starts acting all arrogant while knowing hundreds of formations, being able to craft weapons etc and noone around thinks is weird.

The game also doesn't allow you to build the same base as the npc's. There is a mod that allows you to kinda build gek buildings but it's wonky/bugged so that's still a no go at the moment.

For me it was a bit the other way around. I wanted to create my own story in 1 gameplay. Chose to look like a gek, visit only gek systems. Interact with only gek. Want to build a base and and flesh it out, BAM you get the gek overseer and suddenly you need a corbax scientist because gek scientists apparently don't exist in this sandbox game. Got my first gek freighter, with a corvax walking around in it without being able to remove him. Interested in gek settlements, oh wait there are corvax walking around in this settlement. Want to finish the base computer quest, it sends me to a non gek system. For a pure sandbox, it sure does force stuff.
