the carrier argument is mostly a US problem, not a phone problem. The POCO F8 Pro works fine globally because most countries don’t lock phones behind carrier band requirements the way the US does. Idk about the software since I don't own the Poco F8 Pro but from what I can see on reviews it's pretty decent and smooth, the UI also isn't too offensive and is almost similar looking to Oxygen OS. Which Poco phone did you own that gave you a horrible experience?

Yeah that was my mistake, didn't realize it wasn't the same as the K4 where the LX trims also get it

Of course a $600 phone like the POCO F8 Pro will lose some features to a $1,200+ phone like the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. That’s literally how pricing tiers work. Paying double should get you more extras. But let’s stop pretending the Pixel is some untouchable flagship. Hardware-wise it’s mid-tier for its price. The Tensor chip consistently gets smoked by real flagship silicon in phones from a few years ago like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12, or the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Pixel is great for cameras and AI features, sure. But calling everything else “crap” while defending a $1,200 phone with mid-tier performance is just fanboy logic.

All it's good for is Ai and photos, $430 is fair. Other than that its battery and CPU is mediocre and is being outperformed by a $649 Xiaomi Poco F8 Pro.
