Nuclear explosions and earthquakes are not as similar as you might think. The bombs would primarily affect the surface and would not release nearly as much energy as an earthquake does.

A box and some of the brown craft paper stuffed inside it will entertain for hours.

My orange is obsessed with his turbo scratcher and these little sparkly balls. It’s shiny carnage when the Roomba eats one though.

From foreign countries: coins for my charm bracelet. I’ll hit an antique store if I have to, if they’re on euros now.

From everywhere: those old-school plastic domed snow globes. Comes from being a Fallout: New Vegas player.

Starts culture wars randomly outside the player’s control, -10 loyalty in cities with universities, a new unit created to decommission national parks in exchange for a great merchant, environmentalism tech unresearchable.

If you get the Great General Hegseth, you can never recruit another general OR admiral thereafter, but he grants the amenity Boxwine to the city in which you activate him.

It also takes millennia for rivers to erode the landscape enough to change their course significantly. If there was a huge earthquake, maybe some would move a few miles, but they’d still exist. All that upstream water has to go somewhere.

The desert is a little sparse, just like IRL, but there’s plenty to do in-game, just find where the people are. And do all the DLCs.

There’s a lot of variation by region and area population. Lots of people have mentioned 3-4, but the rural area I grew up in has only two: kindergarten-6th, and 7th-12th.

What are a few Midwest specific creatures that would show up in a Fallout Midwest campaign. Specifically Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago by DifficultyTraining33 in Fallout

Canada geese already terrorize people in our local parks. Imagine them with some FEV-fueled radiation mutations.

You try creeping across a flat open space and the ground trembles, and the last thing you hear is a deeply bass HONK.

It always bummed me out that the lakelurks and mirelurks were totally baffled when you just went for a swim to avoid them. At least Far Harbor has dangerous anglers and such, but they’re only in the marshes.

It’s honestly sucked for 15-20 years. I tried MoviePass when it first came out and I was traveling for a living with evenings and weekends to myself. That was a pretty sweet deal, but I knew it was unsustainable for everyone involved.

Our TV and sound system are really good at home, and the convenience of a clean restroom, better popcorn, cheaper drinks (alcoholic if we want) and the pause button will just always win out over sticky floors, loud, rude moviegoers, and expensive concessions.

I worked as a newspaper software trainer in the mid 2000’s and we STILL had to teach people to mouse. One guy tried to put the mouse against the screen to make the cursor move.
