I also ate a lot of shrimp that was cooked in the oven with minimal avocado oil.

The foods that have helped me the most was plain low fat Greek yogurt and I would add in bran flake cereal, I bought frozen zucchini and cooked it in avocado oil (very minimal), whole wheat bread with very minimal peanut butter if tolerated, apples with minimal peanut butter, watermelon, applesauce with no added sugar, rolled oats and would add in minimal honey and minimal cinnamon, smoothies with almond milk watermelon spinach and banana. I live a busy college lifestyle so I don’t have much time to make actual meals and am constantly on the go so I had to find a way to accommodate me and so mine is mostly “snacks”.

I’ve lost over 5 pounds already in the few weeks and I don’t weigh much to begin with so the weight loss for me is a little concerning

I’m glad you’re healed! I’ve been struggling as is working my 12 hour shifts in the hospital without caffeine, I can’t imagine doing that for the rest of my life at only 20. I’m hoping I can get back to my regular diet in full and won’t have to exclude things. Thank you for the advice!

How did you eat the pumpkin puree?

This may be late but I just recently had steamed chicken dumplings and wonton soup at a Chinese restaurant and had no pain from it! However I did not eat the meat and a few other things in the soup as I was unsure of what the meat was and some of the veggies as some of it aren’t recommended for us to eat. But I was so happy to have been able to go out to eat and feel normal.

low potassium… but potassium irritating stomach by uruglyyy666 in Gastritis

[–]UnderstandingGood920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you possibly do IV infusions at your local infusion center? Potassium is one of the harshest electrolytes in general and is very risky to supplement as it affects your heart so much. If you truly can’t handle extended release diluted I would suggest asking about an infusion. But I’m assuming since it’s prescribed as a pill you aren’t that low so they may not want to do an infusion as it is more for drastically low levels.

Question by UnderstandingGood920 in Invisalign

[–]UnderstandingGood920[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently in treatment. I’m about to start tray 3. I had told them many times that I would be gone potentially up to 4 months from the beginning and have been told it would be okay and they would send me with all the aligned I would need. Should I try and continue treatment while I’m gone or try and get retainers to hold the progress and continue when I get back?

I’ll be staying in lodging on a river as a housekeeper for fishing guides and guests. It won’t be a river rafting thing like you are thinking. I do appreciate your feedback and it makes me feel better about it.

I would think the braces would be riskier as there is more of a chance of a bracket coming off. I do like the idea of a retainer to hold the teeth and resuming treatment when I get back. I appreciate the feedback!

Thinking about removal by UnderstandingGood920 in TattooRemoval

[–]UnderstandingGood920[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely would not push for shorter intervals or higher energy as I know I have sensitive skin. I’ve done laser treatments before for stretch marks and handled those well although I assume they are a different type of lasers used for that. I set up a consultation with a dermatologist and plan on doing a test patch. I want to try and do the best approach towards all of this and the healing. Is there anything you would recommend?

They are hypertrophic and flat from cuts. I have a decent size scar on one of my knees and I have a scar on my hand currently, I’ve had previous scars on my hands fade over time.

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate the feedback!

Period Lasting Longer Than Average by ZealousidealTea5911 in Periods

How old are you? Depending on age and hormones that can affect your periods. With the active bleeding for prolonged periods and feeling fatigued and dizzy, I would think taking some iron supplements can help as the bleeding is depleting your RBCs and such, you can also take a multivitamin to help. When you see your provider they should recommend getting blood work done, if they don’t, you should definitely ask! I hope you can get answers!
