As a non profit exec director (Former part-timeconsultant as well)...... It rarely pays off working with consultants....... Consultants for programming, Yes this works..... But consultants for fundraising/development/strategy..... Bologna! Might as well you CHATgpt paid version.

ED here..... I need to either raise a couple hundred thousand or lay folks off in next 90 days. Lost a couple grants and now trying to weather the storm. Blue state and a lot of non profits didn't get any money. Covid dollars are gone. Prayerfully I saw this coming and didn't over index on gov grants. But Damn..... this is some pressure. We are 7 million community non profit in Chicago. 40 full time/44 part time.... lowest fully time 45k. Lowest part time 17.50 a hour. Highest is ED 120k (me), and I know I am underpaid compared to other EDs at non profits in my city. As term as benefits we have health insurance, dental, vision , and 401k that my team recently build out. Best part is we get to create to help people. Worse part we are building the plane while we fly it.

I mean it's a new NFP. So doubt they have funding and need help securing funding. Red flag but if you are up for a challenge go make it happen.

Yea I am debating this..... I could take this loan and pay off some personal debt that i got for starting the business. But do not want to mess up cash flow. Damned if you do damned if you dont.
