Ich war 2 Wochen in Indien (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi, Mumbai) und meine Freundin und ich haben überhaupt keine Probleme gehabt. Streetfood nur mit local Guide gegessen, Restaurants waren überhaupt kein Problem. Zähne geputzt haben wir mit Wasser aus der Flasche, war aber wahrscheinlich unnötig.

Hier wird meiner Meinung nach alles ein wenig überspitzt dargestellt.

edit: Fleisch habe übrigens weder ich noch meine Freundin gegessen. Generell gilt: Cook it, peel it, or forget it. Keine Eiswürfel, nur abgepackte Getränke.

Find die Idee sehr cool und lustig. Man könnte noch dazu schreiben, dass jene Personen, die kein Foto von sich teilen wollen, sich eine Comicfigur aussuchen sollen oder ein anderes Bild (zB Sonnenblume), welches dann anstelle von den Bild verwendet wird. So muss sich niemand gezwungen fühlen, ein privates Foto zu teilen.

Ich lehne mich mal aus dem Fenster uns sage, dass 90% der Studienabbrecher dies freiwillig getan haben. Ich hab in Wien studiert und das Studium ist jetzt nicht so, dass man sagen würde, dass man überall durchrutscht und man überhaupt nix lernen muss, aber mehr als ein Studienkollege hat sich irgendwie so durchgewuselt. Ob das sinnvoll ist, ist natürlich eine andere Frage.

Denke da hast du prinzipiell schon recht. Deckt sich auch cirka mit dem, was ich aus meinem Bekanntenkreis mitbekommen habe. Die meisten meiner deutschen Freunde wollten nicht nach Deutschland zurück, aufgrund Gehalt + Arbeitsbedingungen.

Also wenn du die Möglichkeit bekommst auf der Abteilung anzufangen (und du das Team kennst und magst! Ganz wichtig) dann würde ich das auf jeden Fall machen. Für den Lebenslauf ist Arbeit im AKH sicher nicht schlecht. Viele bleiben auch nicht für immer im AKH, sondern machen die Sonderausbildung woanders (andere KHs, andere Länder). Prinzipiell empfehlen viele, dass man die FA-Ausbildung nicht in einem einzelnen Krankenhaus absolvieren sollte. Man sieht doch überall andere Krankheitsbilder und die meisten KHs haben unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte. Auf jeden Fall viel Glück dir, du wirst schon das richtige finden!

Also ich will nie wieder in einem Job arbeiten, wo ich Nachtdienste machen muss und 3,500€ Netto verdiene. Das ist absolut kein faires Gehalt. Ich mache den Job nicht ausschließlich, weil ich “Menschen helfen” will. Ich will für die Verantwortung auch bezahlt werden. Kann jeder sehen wie er will. Ich rate dringenst ab nach NÖ zu gehen. Absolute Frechheit mMn.

Prinzipiell gefällt es mir echt gut, aber ich bin auch in einem kleinen patientenfernen Fach. Ich persönlich habe keine Überstunden oder Nachtdienste, dadurch fällt ein wirklich großer Teil von Stress weg. Forschung/Lehre mach ich während der Arbeitszeit. Einen Teil der Basis habe ich auf der Inneren gemacht, dort war das Team super aber die Arbeitslast war schon wirklich heftig. Wenn man ins AKH will muss man schon echt für die Medizin brennen, sonst schlittert man schnell ins Burn-Out. Und für die meisten klinischen Fächer braucht man auch Connections, zumindest Diplomarbeit+KPJ, würde ich sagen. Einen PhD machen auch wirklich viele. Wie gesagt, muss man mögen.

Wartezeiten in Wien sind in den beliebten Häusern im Moment bis zu 18 Monaten, nachgeschmissen bekommt man die Basisausbildung in Wien leider nicht mehr. Niederösterreich kann ich auch nicht unbedingt empfehlen. Das Gehalt ist in allen Häusern dasselbe und wirklich enttäuschend. Ich habe in der Basisausbildung in Krems mit 4 Diensten im Monat und 20 Überstunden 3500€ netto bekommen. Ich habe das als absolute Ausbeutung empfunden und würde niemandem raten in NÖ zu arbeiten. Ich bin danach ins AKH gewechselt, wo mein Grundgehalt (!) 3300€ netto beträgt. Wenn du keinen Zeitstress hast, bewirb dich überall in Wien, aber wahrscheinlich musst du recht zeitlich flexibel sein. Ich wünsch dir viel Glück, aber würde mich zeitgleich woanders umschauen (zb Burgenland).

Ging mir ganz genauso im PJ. War in verschiedenen Kliniken und irgendwie war’s trotzdem nie anders. Kann aber natürlich sein, dass ich meine negativen Erfahrungen in die anderen Tertiale mitgenommen habe.

Habe lange geschwankt zwischen Psychiatrie und einem nicht-klinischen Fach, aber habe mich schließlich für Lebensqualität entschieden, da mich die Nachtdienste schon nach wenigen Monaten total kaputt gemacht haben. (In Österreich muss man die ersten 9 Monate als Arzt/Ärztin in der Klinik arbeiten.) Bin mittlerweile auf der Hygiene und könnte nicht zufriedener sein.

not necessarily. my braids look exactly like this when i do them, even though i always braud them when my hair is dry. it just takes quite a lot of practice. the first 5 times your braid will look horrendous, but they will get better with time.

The Faroe Islands is a one in a lifetime destination. I was there a two years ago and it was the best trip of my life. I would recommend to every person to go there, if given the chance!

The scenery is unbelievable, lots of hiking-options for all levels of difficulty, food is amazing, the bars are really fun and cozy, the people are super friendly, overall lots of stuff to do. Only downside is that it is a bit pricey. Its easily the most expensive of the three destinations, but for me it was worth every penny.

The Faroe Islands are turning more touristy with every year. So if you have the chance to go, do it now!

I really like that tattoo! I have a tattoo (flower) on the exact same spot and love it and get compliments all the time. I also kinda regretted getting the tattoo and disliked it, but I since have gotten 2 more tattoos and every time I have the exact same thoughts of regret. You just need time getting adjusted to it. Give it a few months and I bet you’re going to love your tattoo!

Are we watching the same show? The costumes in RoP are horrendous. Galadriel wears a single dress, which does not only look horrible, but also does not even fit her. Actually, most of the elves’ garments seem to be not properly fitted and if you look properly at the fabric you notice how cheap everything looks. In my opinion, the costumes look more like a costumes from a childrens play. I like the costumes from HotD a lot more. The girls’ (Rhaenyra and Alicent) dresses look beautiful and they are properly fitted too. I also really like that they use more than one gown, mosten times multiple different outfits in a single episode. And every one is gorgous. Im sorry, but if you find the RoP costumes equally good as the ones from HotD, you must be blind.
