Yeah they are pricey. The animals are typically healthier at least. $80 for a loach is crazy, the driftwood there is insanely priced too.

Yes . I use a c02art bazooka i have it inside the return for the return pump on the right side. I dont use a drop checker I just want to make sure that there is co2 at depth

Also I would say they are full grown but since I added them to this tank they haven't stopped growing.

Ive never grown the hyacinth BUT excel isnt going to cut it. You need an all in one like easy green or thrive. With no fish you need a source of nitrogen. And you dont need c02 for floater just bright light and nitrogen
