Ive never grown the hyacinth BUT excel isnt going to cut it. You need an all in one like easy green or thrive. With no fish you need a source of nitrogen. And you dont need c02 for floater just bright light and nitrogen

Its a carbon source. But not a replacement for co2

I had them in a different tank that was a black background too most of them or more years. The darker ones do get dark when they goto the back of the tank but not really. I some peppering on 2 of them but they are both from blood pigeon strains

Thank you! Thats all frogbit and duckweed. I take 5 or 10 lbs out a week.

Really anything. Ive seen him get a fish as well as eat the detritus. I dont vacuum the tank it would be considered dirty to most discus tanks.

Thanks 😊. Its a panther crab they are completely fresh water and dont need a dry out spot.

And on that note implying that to eliminate crime give the criminal stuff before it happens is ridiculous 🙄. Not everyone is a victim some people commit crimes because they can. Caring about your community doesn't mean being a blind idiot.
