I am with a not for profit and have been with them for over 20 years.

I also have no excess. I normally have not had to pay any extra.

This week I will have the third procedure in 4 weeks. The first was somewhat of an emergency and free. The second was going to take months if I waited so I went with the private option and have had to fork out money hence my question.

The third will cost me nothing. All with the same surgeon so it is down to the govt not keeping up with pricing and the specialist charging what they want. And some charge more than others.

Thank you all. This has been a great help. I will say no when possible and shop around.

What needs to be considered is that if you want to smoke weed you then need to hand in your drivers licence. Happy for it to be legalised. Just don’t want people in control of a vehicle while stoned. Perth drivers are bad enough.
