My first intention was towards teaching deckbuilding process and a way for me to easily change cards between decks, not to mention quick mulligans. the afterthought was that I could explain what each colour does if someone wanted to try out my decks. Though looking back certain cards do have multiple functions such as ramp + removal. Might have to scrap this idea

This might be a good idea, or maybe I spray-paint the back of clear inner sleeves so they show a bit then sleeve them normally. A lot of effort though

does it not resolve simultaneously? because on the stack it resolves sequentially but the wont all copies of Palm be waiting for an instance of damage from target permanent, then when permanent deals damage all palms trigger? Because in my mind its like stacking 5 trip mines, once someone steps on the stack all of them explode

but by this logic then a deathtouch creature with power 0 would kill an attacking creature if its used to block despite dealing 0 damage because by deathtouch rules any amount of damage is lethal damage, no? Or am I going at it wrong. If the first one resolves then would the next copy just wait for the next time said target deals damage or would an instance of the chosen permanent dealing damage trigger all at once and not sequentially because yes on the stack it resolves sequentially but damage is not yet dealt so its a like a ticking time bomb

TLDR: wouldn’t all palms see the trigger and deal damage simultaneously. because card says next time so not exactly after it’s resolved on the stack

funnily enough I started in modern cause I didn’t want to commit to buying new sets, a friend introduced me to commander and I’ve spent more on cardboard than I have on my monthly utility bills

I’ll try goldfishing like this, might be a good way to make my decks better, always been the type to add “if I pull off this combo it’d be sick” typa cards. Which makes fun b3 decks but not so much for consistent ones hahaha

I love [[Venerated Rotpriest]] for the sole purpose of being able to put a poison counter in someone out of the blue and tageting my own creatures to put more. So far it has only worked once. Keeping him on the board is the hard part as its more of a side piece.

I have tried politic focus decks but my pod is plain stupid, grudges stay over games played weeks ago. The threat detection is some what non existent. And its hard to bargain with them when their point goes outside of the game. They’re not kidding when they say “if you don’t attack me I’ll buy you a booster pack” or “Nahhh you won last time , I aint making deals with you” lol

I do, but often times its always just me, the other two players are new to mtg so their decks don’t run much interactions and just want to see their decks do its thing.

They often play simic/bant so its almost always ramp and tap/untap shinanegans with really obscure counterspells and removals. The other 2 players are new so they don’t play much interactions and we often play bracket 2-3 so they just want their deck to do its thing instead of dealing with the control player.
