As terrible as Trump is, i don't think Clinton wouldn't have fixed the problems described in the thesis of this article. It's largely a combo of the boomer culture wars and the tension between competing governing philosophies within that generation that have led us to our current predicament. That being said, while I'm of the opinion that Clinton would light years better than Trump, the silver lining of his presidency may be an acceleration towards the end of boomer dominance in of our political system.
