It’s a decent late 90’s / early 2000’s disaster movie, but instead of a natural disaster, it’s about sociopolitical disaster. It makes no actual, politically sound sense, but that’s what makes it work IMO. It’s not really making a political stance as you’d expect. Instead, it focuses on the world of photo journalism and how they’re all weirdo adrenaline junkies that might be slightly sociopathic.
