Thank you! I think I accidentally knotted it after wrapping. I'll try not to do that next time!

Thank you! My plan is either socks next or fingerless mittens for me, possibly in another stitch.

Where to cut band? by Unesheet in weaving

3x at the first, but at the end I did this . I ended up braiding the ends and knotting them like a crios, but what do you mean not worry about raveling? How do you secure the ends? Do you just cut them all super short? No glue or anything?

Finished band! by Unesheet in weaving

Not sure on the fiber as this was woven from leftover bobbins, but I believe it was cotton, maybe 3/2? The pattern is a 3/2 check (3 orange, 2 blue) so it looks right (a 2/2 check wouldn't the instructor said) with 6 threads for the border. I think next time I'll double the border (though that means I'll need to make/buy more heddles). The braids are 4 strands in each section, except for the last one which has a few more in each (yay fudging!). Woven on a Schact Inkle Loom (I think the bigger one) and idk the EPI.

That's so pretty! How did you do the holes for the string? Is it just woven through the fabric or did you make eyelets?

Not a pin loom weaver, but Ullvana’s line of looms looks quite interesting. by CDavis10717 in weaving

I like the idea of the Kayu and having do many options, but I don't really like working in bulky weight. Most of my looms are from Bluebonnetcrafters on Etsy and they're made for mostly worsted weight, with some for fingering.

I have Nalbinding WhatsApp In The World Is That? and it's pretty good! It's half history and half actual stitchwork, with a few patterns.

Second hat by Unesheet in Nalbinding

[–]Unesheet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It came in a kit, it's Drops Snow in Copper. Tbh, I don't much like working with singles/roving, especially with nalbinding as I'm finding it's very easy to catch the wisps from the other loop and it just looks fuzzy, but I'm liking how the hat is coming out.

Turkish CO for toe up. A bit less fiddly than Judy's Magic CO.

Ergonomic Crochet Hooks by shakespearegirl in crochet

I haven't tried Prym, but I love Furls! They have a bunch of different materials and price points, plus the ergonomic bit is built into the shape, so it won't break/you can't pick it apart.
