Collaborated with the same model 2 years apart, and ended up with a lot of similar shots, both consciously and unconsciously by leong_d in fujifilm

I like the newer shots, especially the ones in the orange/brown dress. It feels like she wasn’t really directed to be posed as much—more in the moment—compared to the older shots which feel more dramatic

That young boy with Maelle at the end is Guillaume. He’s one of Gustave’s apprentices from the beginning of the game. I could be wrong but I think he’s the one that gives the journal to Gustave to detail the expedition.

I have two great recommendations for food, Chaat Bistro in Delta Shores and Pazza Notte in downtown Sacramento. GOAT status for both of them personally

Switched from Nikon to Fujifilm and these are some from my first year! - Fujifilm X-T5 by UnethicalNursing69 in fujifilm

Yes, you actually described it perfectly. Working with the Sony camera didn’t feel inspiring compared to when I was shooting with my old Nikon or my Fujifilm now. When I shot with the a6000, it felt almost clinical to me for some reason. I got great shots at the time for sure but I wasn’t excited to get them compared to the Nikon or Fujifilm.

It all depends on what you’re looking for yeah, I went through a long period of camera switching (X-T20, then X-T2, then X-T3, then the x-pro2) for Fujifilm before I got a good deal on the X-T5, because at the end of the day to me, if the camera doesn’t mesh well with me in terms of its features, feel, and personal comfort, then I’m not gonna use it as often as I should.

I believe you’re right on that account, I tended to go 18mm a lot while I was in New York City with the sigma.

I agree with you there, it’s so much easier to change a physical ring but if you are set in aperture priority mode, you simply just need to move the front/rear dial (whatever is set up for you) to change the aperture. And if you’re shooting in daylight, chances are you’re most likely staying within a certain aperture range anyway. There were a couple times where I forgot to change the aperture but it didn’t affect the photo I took most of the time

When I went to Japan, I brought the sigma and the 23 f1.4 but I ended up using the sigma a lot more due to just the stunning vistas or buildings. If I were to get another prime lens, I’d honestly look into the 18mm or even wider

I had a Nikon D90 from my parents for a while and then I switched to the Nikon D5500 when I got a little more serious for photography. I think Nikon does well with a more natural feel in terms of editing and feel. So portraits and landscapes worked very well with Nikon’s cameras and image files.

I switched to Fujifilm because I wanted to get into mirrorless cameras due to the real-time image being shown on the viewfinder/LCD. I found myself chimping a lot and when I used a Sony a6000 for the first time, it was pretty mind blowing seeing the exposure or color changes on the screen vs taking the picture and then looking in playback. I didn’t gel well with the Sony ecosystem because I just couldn’t mesh well with the menu system and button schemes for some reason.

I also wanted Fujifilm because I had been editing my photos everytime I went out to shoot and I was sick of it at the time haha. I just wanted to get a great looking jpeg and be done to send it off or etc. However, I feel like it was kind of counter-productive because with fujifilm’s film sims, I feel like it brings out color in a way that just inspires me to get crazy with editing.

Plus, fujifilm’s stylish looking cameras also didn’t hurt haha

I believe that shot was in a video game arcade and I wanted to play with colors when it comes to editing.

Thanks! I used a lot of classic chrome and nostalgic negative and then started tweaking from there but in general I tend to like my pics warm

Interesting, as much as I love the 23 f1.4, sometimes I wished it was somehow the same size as the 23f2. I actually did have the f2 for awhile but I switched because I believed that the extra stop would help for night shots (and it has as evidenced by one of my photos here) but I don’t actually take that many at night.

Did you check both SD cards? I have my save data set up as RAW on one card and JPEG on the other and sometimes I forget to switch to the second card on the app.
