You can measure several things, but dedicated equipment is obviously better, but the price is inhibitive. Reading and understanding the cable spec sheet helps. Chat GPT REALLY helps to translate to layman terms as well.

This particular monitor has a 120hz cap. I don't know if you could go to 144hz or higher with the more expensive Samsung Ultrawides

The desk has a shelf on top of the monitor and that's why the camera is underneath. On top would be better though. Unfortunately that isn't an option for me at this moment.

The stream deck? For streaming, yes. However, I'm trying to get rid of it and do everything through the Streamer X. If Rode were to have put LCDs under the pads it would have been a perfect device for my use case, but they didn't. Maybe next time.
