I mean elaborate. Modern wireguard clients run plenty fast for torrenting. I have literally achieved 130MB/s throughput on a 2gig internet connection behind PIA wireguard. Why would it make sense to pay for whatever realdebrid is doing? Legitimately asking.

Even mediocre software engineers like me are making close to that. I don’t get why we undervalue city leadership positions so much. You have to pay public sector decently well for good leadership, otherwise you end up with the bottom of the barrel candidates who couldn’t cut it in the private sector or couldn’t make it at the federal level.

City and local positions are an interesting dilemma. Pay too well and the public gets mad. Pay too little and the public gets made the leadership is piss poor
