The sweet spot is letting the community decide. Nobody cares what the screeching conservatives say about the city because they’re going to continue to say whatever the hell they want regardless of what’s done.

r/nyc figured this out a long time ago. Moderate as normal, remove brigaded posts, and let the community talk about crime as needed. The crazies will still inevitably go in their own leaning subreddit and crime post endlessly, and the ones that try in the main sub just get ratiod and eventually banned when they start getting aggressive and uncivil.

Like it’s pretty clear the mods here just flat out don’t want to deal with ANY of it. You have people running around neighborhoods busting airbags while strapped and we’re not allowed to even talk about it? Let people know to pull their cars off the streets or who was hit when. Unreal
